Provide the necessary solution asked for in each of the following problems.

(1).A father's age is twice his son,s age.Ten years ago he was thrice as his son.Find their present ages.

(2).10 men can dig 20 holes in 40 days.20 men can dig 10 holes in how many days?

(3).If a train is running 4 minutes late and losing 4 seconds per min,how many more minutes will it take for the train to b running half an hour late?

(4).The combined length of two rivers A and B is 1000 kms.If the river A is 200 kms shorter than the river B,then find the individual length of each river.

(5).One basket of oranges has one-third again as many oranges as a second basket.If the first basket has 3 more oranges than the second basket,how many has the first basket?

1. it was a weekly sports magazine and there are only four weeks in a month. therefore it is not possible to have 6 issues in a month.

2. It is 4.00am not 4.00pm

3. if he was orphan how he had a father, or second guess is" the orphan house must b owned by the christian missionary " Father".

Bro rite answer is 10 days solution is below

Time taken by 10 men to dig 20 holes = 40 days
Time taken by 10 men to dig 1 hole = 40/20 days
Time taken by 1 man to dig 1 hole = 40x10/20 days
Time taken by 20 men to dig 10 holes = 40x10x10/20x20 days
= 10 days

It is also incorrect .Answer is 390 minutes because

To Lose 4 seconds train has to run = 1 min
To lose 1 min train has to run = 15 min
To lose 26 minutes train has to run = 26 x 15
= 390

Train is already runnin late by 4 min.when it loses 26 min more, it will be running late by half an hour.But to lose 26 min train should run for 390 min.



It is absloutely correct
