These words were the last words of Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed (R.A) when he was sick in his death bed, greatest general ever known in the history of Islam....who broke nine sword in battle of Mutah and who would not fear entering the Persian Armies alone....but how could he get Martyred in a battle with Kuffar...as he was the 'sword of Allah' and that never gets broken in a battle with Kuffar....none the less an exemplary life for every living Muslim (especially in current times when armies of the whole world descend upon Muslims) He (R.A) also said Said this when one of his commander tried to stop him from taking a dangerous rout direct to Syria from Iraq through Syrian desert and said that ..You cannot take this route with an army. By Allah, even a lone traveler would attempt it at the peril of his life. It involves five days of extreme hardship without a drop of water and the ever-present danger of losing the way. "We shall take this route; let not your resolve be weakened. Know that the help of Allah comes according to your desire. Let not the Muslims fear anything so long as they have the help of Allah." Reveal not every secret you have to a friend, for how can you tell but that friend may hereafter become an enemy. It's better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not. Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.
