Racism

I'm sure many of you watched the recent taping of the Oprah Winfrey Show where her guest was Tommy Hilfiger. On the show, she asked him if the statements about race he was accused of saying were true.
Statements like"..."If I'd known African-Americans, Hispanics, Jewish and Asians would buy my clothes, I WOULD NOT have made them so nice. I wish these people would *NOT* buy my clothes, as they are made for upper class white people." His answer to Oprah was a simple "YES". Where after she immediately asked him to leave her show.

My suggestion? Don't buy your next shirt or perfume from Tommy Hilfiger. Let's give him what he asked for. Let's not buy his clothes, let's put him in a financial state where he himself will not be able to afford the ridiculous prices he puts on his clothes. BOYCOTT. Stop buying any range of their product, perfume, cosmetics, clothes, bags, etc.,


EVENT 2

Scene took place on a British Airways flight between Johannesburg and London. A White woman, about 50 years old, was seated next to a black man.

Obviously disturbed by this, she called the air Hostess. "Madam, what is the matter," the hostess asked. "You obviously do not see it then?" she responded.

"You placed me next to a black man. I do not agree to sit next to someone from such a repugnant group. Give me an alternative seat." "Be calm please," the hostess replied. "Almost all the places on this Flight are taken.

I will go to see if another place is available." The Hostess went away and then came back a few minutes later. "Madam, Just as I thought, there are no other available seats in the economy class. I spoke to the captain and he informed me that there is a seat in the business class.

All the same, we still have one place in the first class." Before the woman could say anything, the hostess continued: "It is not usual for our company to permit someone from the economy class to sit in the first class. However, given the circumstances, the captain feels that it would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so disgusting."

She turned to the black guy, and said, "Therefore, Sir, if you would like to, please collect your hand luggage, a seat awaits you in first class."

At that moment, the other passengers who were shocked by what they had just witnessed stood up and applauded.

Racisim is bad, but with the given circumstances its very hard to avoid racisim. Let me put it all from into a perspective from a person who lives in a general community that contains a decent population of Blacks. All these statements are generalization. Within any race and religion there are good people and there are bad people. But if we want to generalize the populations on races we can get a good picture of why racisim exists and will exist.

In the American schools they teach us that racisim is bad. We are supposed to be colorblind to all the people. But in the real world, the laws and politicians ENFORCE racisim. Universities have quotas in which they have to accept a certain amount of African-Americans (how many of them have been to Africa?) even if there is a white or asian or other race person who outperforms the Black person in his/her grades/test scores etc. Thats Bull****. In work, you are supposed to have a diverse group of workers. Once again, its not the best people for the job, its all about being equal. I have not seen this myself, but i heard people say that if u hire a black person for your business you can get tax break. Is that fair? That certainly is racisim, but its racisim AGAINST THE NON-BLACK people.

Then we have black activists like Jessy "Jackass" Jackson who will pull out the race card on every single thing that happens to a black person. He will blame it on racisim. Instead of blurring the lines between the races, people like that idiot are exposing the racial differences even more.

Another thing to consider. You can have scholarships for black people only, for asians only but if u dared to start one up for a white people only you would be called a racist. why is that?

Over the past two years, every time an assult happens on our campus, everybody gets an email from the school security. In the past two years out of the 12 crimes reported in an email all 12 were done by a group of young black males, ages 20-25. Is it racist to say that a lot of black people have more potential to commit a crime as opposed to other races?

Recently i worked on helping to remodel a house in a 90% black neighborhood. In a few weeks, someone broke into the basement of the house and ripped the plumbing right out of the walls, so they can sell the copper pipes at about 80 cents a pound. What kind of an animal do u have to be to rip out stuff from the wall?

The welfare system in cities like chicago and other cities in the US is drained by the African-American population. The proportion of white population who get welfare is minutly small compared to the black popluation who get welfare. For me to go and get welfare i would have to be very desperate and as soon as i made enough money to take care of myself i would go to the city and thank them for their help. I would be ashamed to be taking money from the city like that. But a lot of black people take it like its their second nature. the more babies they have the more money they get. And 80% of black children are born out of wedlock. Thats a shocking number!

On the other hand, black people who come from the poor countries of Africa are very hard working, educated people. They work long hours to provide for their familiesand they devoted to their jobs. As i said before there are bad apples in every race, but if we generalize, there is no way for racisim to go away anytime soon, and its not always the white persons fault
