The Pending Coffee ..

The Pending Coffee ..

(Roughly translated from Italian)

We were in a small coffee shop.
Two customers arrived.
They said:
'5 coffees. 2 for us, 3 pending'.
They paid for 5 and took only 2.

'What's a pending coffee' .. ?
I asked myself:
'Wait and see'.

More customers. Two girls get their coffees, they paid normally.

After a while 3 lawyers asked for 7 coffees.
They took only 3 but paid for 7.

While we were talking, a poor man entered the shop.
In a soft voice he asked:
'Do you have any pending coffee' .. ?
And he gets it ..

This type of charity was invented in Napoli (Naples, Italy)
People pay in anticipation for the coffees and even meals,
in advance for those who can't afford .. !!

Nice one but this depends upon the value system of the society. Jahan Coffee Shop owners ka eman kacha ho wahan pending coffee bhi kisi ky naseeb nhi honi. Our people mix normal saline in Blood Bags and Plasma in Platelets Bags. How can we expect such things in this society?

Very true ..

However, In a society like ours one can simply take a needy present near a place selling coffee, tea or meals and pay in his/her presence to make sure they get it .. If the good ones of the world stop doing good worrying beforehand about the evil, the good won't prevail .. :)

Regards ..

A stunning one. Napoleon once said, "The world suffers a lot not because of the violence of bad people. But because of the silence of good people."
