Q5- (This is amazing question. Infact this case was put to Hazrat Ali(a.s.) and he resolve the case beautifuly. Its a pure mathematics and I am yet confused how is it possible. Give urself a try). You have to devide the inheritance of 17 camals among three brothers. The elder brother get 2/3rd of total camals. The middle brother gets 1/6 th of total camals and the youngest brother get 1/9th of total camals. How would u divide camals without killing them for equal division??
Q6- There are two villages(suppose village A and B). The people of village A always tells a truth while the people of village B always tells a lie. You met 2 persons (suppose Person A and B). Both belongs to same village. You asked them who is married. Person A answers that we both are married and Person B said that he is not married. Can you tell who is married and who is not? And justify your answer.

1:12111>>>> 11000+1111=12111
4:He gives the customer >>>One 50 Rs Note,One 5 Rs Note,and Four 2 Rs coins.
5:The solution is this way>>> we add the share 2/3+1/6+1/9 and take there LCM,We get 18 as the LCM and the further solution brings this statement (12+3+2)/18,the above numbers makes it 17,so the Elder gets 12,The Middle gets 3 and the youngest gets 2 camels respectivley,(i might be wrong with the formula but this is the only probability of numbers for 17 among 3 according to the conditions specified).
7:Malaria is only caused by the biting of Female Mosquito so that person for sure was stung by a female mosquito.
(The other questions need a bit thinking and i dont have spare time as i have to make decisions for the Nation,Tschuss,)

Khushal u did great job. Ur answers are correct. The core of the Q5 solution is what u said. but its among 17 camals and not 18. Infact the solution provided by Hazrat Ali(a.s.) is as follows. He did add his one camal in 17 and it so becomes 18. The elder son gets 2/3. so 2/3*18 = 12 camals. The middle gets 1/6*18=3 camals. And the younger son gets 1/9*18=2 camals. So it sums upto 12+3+2=17 and thus one camal lefts back which was the one Our holy imam added for solving the problem.

there are still Q2 ,Q3 and Q6 are answered. I will post their solution on monday. So give a try. Best of luck

For Q 2

documentarily, consumptively, unpredictably,subordinately etc.

Q 3

it is bcoz the vehicle can be seen in the rear-view mirror

Q 6

There are two person one from village A and other from B. As u said the people of village A always tells a truth while the people of village B always tells a lie. if both are from village A than the statement is not okay. if the statement is from village B than also the answer is not right. the statement can only b right if both r from different villages, in that case one is married while the other is not

lets say if Person A is from village A and Person B from village B, then Person A is married

if Person A is from village B and Person B from village A, then Person A is not married married

Heres my reply to Q6...

In my opinion, both of them belong to Village B and so both are liars... And hence, we cannot determine whether either of the two is married or not....

THE 1 Monday, September 26, 2005 08:06 PM

one more possibility...

both of them are from village B and both are lying...

Person B is Lying because he is married and Person A is telling a lie because he is talking about himself and me ( the person who met A and B)

Well done all. Good job done. Busharaf ur last post is right. I will make it a little clear for those who did not understand the answer. As in the question both people are from same village. So they both are teeling a truth or telling a lie. As both their statements or contradict so they are not telling a truth. If person B is telling a lie than it means he is married. Person A is also telling a lie so he is not married.
