Assalam-o-Alaikum,

My name is Ayesha and i am doing Mba final Semester with finance specialization.I have completed my Matriculation with science in 2003,after that in 2005 i have completed my Fsc. (Pre Medical).My marks was not good to join any medical college thats why i change my field and got admission in B.Com after two year i passed B.Com with great marks and i got admission in Mba .Now i want to do CSS.I wrote my all academics qualification now i want to ask something that i chose these obtional subjects i-e
Accounting and auditing 200
Merchentile law 100
international relation 100 (but i does not know about this subject)


now plzzzzzzzzzzz any body guide me to chose subject carring marks 200.

1st of all welcome to the forum.
As far as your subject selection is concerned i see no harm in it as you already mentioned that you are having commerce back ground which would help you immensely while covering the course outline provided by FPSC.
It is advisable for you to go through the Syllabus provided so you may find some subject more suitable for you in terms of interest or having some knowledge about it.

Bro i don't think so any aspirant can opt for Accounts and Business Communication at the same time. As per rules defined by FPSC subjects carrying not more than 200 marks can be opted in a group.

Dear u have to decide ur self. It is owing to that u better judge than any other. And u can handle wid these optional subjects. I am of opinion that look at ur atittude and then decide that wat shud u opt.

First and foremost challenge for you is to get sound grip over English language. Start from compulsory subjects. By the time you will be having reasonable preparation of compulsory subjects; you will be in a better position to decide about the optional subjects.

Do assign weightage to your interests & aptitude, expertise & academic background, past papers pattern, scoring trend of papers, and the inter-linking of various subjects.

Dear, Ayesha I totally agree with Raz ‘s suggestion that maximum should be given on improving English writing, because it is gradual process ,indeed .U know what, if u have a command over expressing your ideas on any topic in tangible way ,offcours ,then u will get more chances to get through CSS in future. Besides, I think u must opt hundred marks subject as optional.

• American History.

• IR Journalism,

• Sociology

• Constitutional law

• Your Regional Language.

Along with your Accountancy & Auditing, and Mercantile Law,

Now presently, Muslim History has been scoring subject do think about it.
It is, therefore, Ayesha it is informed that pay proper time to reading and writhing as well as discussion. I have good Notes of sociology and IR made by MUFAKER, who got second position in Pakistan in 2007, I will share you if u r serious in this regard. However, before that u have to start your study compulsory subjects.
