Hello and Walekum Salaam.

As you are new to this forum I would like to welcome you on board.

Strategy in your case should be simple as you do not have much time left in your attempt and probably it would be your last but this scenario would change if you manage to qualify with the grace of Allah Almighty.

First Step.
Go through the subject list and their course outlines. Select the subjects with which you are familiar and comfortable as i am afraid that you do not have much time to get familiarised with the new one's.Please do not fall in the trap of " scoring subjects ".

Second Step
I'd suggest a smart preparation plan for you. That is go through past 15 years of papers of the optional subjects you choose and get a list of Important questions and prepare them to your best.

Third Step
You shoud immediately start preparing the compulsory portion of css syllabus as i think that is the part which makes the difference. Practice English essay atleast twice a week and precies on more regular basis.Important thing is to get your essay's and precis checked by a proffessional, who can point out your mistakes.

Fourth Step
Make a time table for your preparation and stick to it and pray to God that he may bless you and ask everyone around you to pray for your success specially your Mother.

Regards

welcome u Dr sahib at this forum.

baring indo pak history ur subject selection is wonderful. as indo pak history is a less scoring subject so i would suggest u go after psychology as u have medical background and u can grasp this subject in a well manner. besides psychlogy, islamic history is also a much sought after subject so u have to reconsider ur this subject.

ur subject selection is good keeping in view the fact that it will give u a lot of overlap which is important for u because of less time available.
above advice by MMM is good that just focus on past papers and prepare often repeated questions well....... other than this dnt ignore compulsory subjects... u can simply clear the exam by this strategy
