Virtues of reciting Surah Kahf(The Cave) (سورة الكهف) on Friday

And they remained in their cave for three hundred years and exceeded by nine. Say, "Allah is most knowing of how long they remained. He has [knowledge of] the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. How Seeing is He and how Hearing! They have not besides Him any protector, and He shares not His legislation with anyone."} [al-Kahf: 9-26]

1. From Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri, who said: “Whoever reads Surah al-Kahf on the night of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will stretch between him and the Ancient House (the Ka’bah).”
(Narrated by al-Daarimi, 3407. This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami, 6471)

2. It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘Whoever reads Surah al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, a light will shine for him from beneath his feet to the clouds of the sky, which will shine for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be forgiven (his sins) between the two Fridays.’”

3. Abu al-Darda (Allah be pleased with him) related that the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said, Whoever commits ten verses from the beginning Surat al-Kahf will be protected from the Dajjal.
[Muslim, Abu Dawud, Nasai, and others; the wording is Muslims]

4. In a narration in Muslim and Abu Dawud it states, From the end of Surat al-Kahf. Tirmidhi related is with the words, Whoever recites three verses from the beginning of Al-Kahf will be protected from the tribulations of the Dajjal.
