Syedna Abu Malik (R.A) se riwayat hai ke jab Nabi Pak (SAAW) se mushrikeen ke bacho ke baray main sawal kiya gya to Nabi Pak (SAAW) ne farmaya wo ahle jannat ke khadim hon ge. (Tabrani :6993)

Reason 1: ‘Nasara’ means "the helpers", the singular of which is ‘Nasrani’. Just like the term used for those believers in Madina who supported Prophet Muhammad and hence were called ‘the helpers’. According to the Quran when Jesus began his mission he asked his disciples who would be helping him in the cause of God. The Holy Quran states: “Believers, become Allah's helpers, as Jesus, son of Mary, said to the disciples: “Who is my helper in (calling people) to Allah?” The disciples had responded by saying: “We are Allah's helpers.” [61:14]

Reason 2: It was said that they were called `Nasara', because they inhabited a land called An-Nasirah.

Musa consists of two words in Coptic, the language of the Copts. Mu in Coptic means water and Sa is wood. Pharoah's wife, Hazrat Asiya (RA), found him floating in the Nile River in a Wooden Box. She named him Musa.

Besides Qaswa, Hazrat Muhammad (SAAW) had Al-adba (Azba) and Al-Jada. Some say that Jada was another name for Adba. Allah knows best.

Narrated Anas:

The Prophet (PBUH) had a she-camel called Al-`Adba' and it was too fast to surpass in speed. There came a bedouin riding a camel of his, and that camel outstripped it (i.e. Al-Aqba'). That result was hard on the Muslims who said sorrowfully, "Al- Adba has been outstripped." Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said, "It is due from Allah that nothing would be raised high in this world except that He lowers or puts it down."
