@LI and seniors

What is Islam's stance on Muslims donating their blood, or offering their organ(s) in bothe cases when they are alive and after their death? Is accepting donor organs permissable?

Though I am not a scholar in Islamic Studies, yet I know about one Verse of Holy Quran in Surah Maedah that states,"He who saved a single life is as if he saved the whole humanity, and he who killed a single life is as if he killed the entire humanity".
From the verse mentioned above, we can induce quite clearly that organ or blood donation for sake of saving even a single life is not only permissible and allowed in Islam, but also is appreciated.

Isi liye kehtay hain keh khud apni opinion nahi deni chahye Quran o Hadees ke mamlay main Watch the video and you will get the answer about this ayat too that it cannot be applied in every situation. There are certain limits, condition and reservation on blood donation and organ transplantation. Watch full video please.
