Allah descending during the last third of the night
The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The Lord descends every night to the lowest heaven when one-third of the night remains and says: ‘Who will call upon Me, that I may answer Him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Narrated 'Aisha: ''Whenever the Prophet took a bath after Janaba he started by washing his hands and then performed ablution like that for the prayer. After that he would put his fingers in water and move the roots of his hair with them, and then pour three handfuls of water over his head and then pour water all over his body''. **** Narrated 'Abdullah bin Umar, RasulAllah (Sallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said, "A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection." [Bukhari Book 3 Volume 43 Hadith 622] **** Whenever you are distressed, worried or confused, just close your eyes, take a deep breath and say: Oh Allah; I love You! I know its your plan, and I put my complete trust in you. You are with me always, and I will succeed because I have supplicated to you. Please protect me and bless me. Ameen |
Spend O Son of Adam
The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Allah has said, ‘Spend (on charity) O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’” [Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim] **** “O Son of Adam! As Long as you call me …” Anas (radi Allahu anhu) said that he heard the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) say: “Allah the Exalted said: “O son of Adam! As long as you invoke Me and plead to Me, I will forgive you whatever you have committed, and I will not make much of it. O son of Adam! If your evil deeds reach the borders of the sky, and then you ask Me for forgiveness, I will forgive you. O son of Adam! If you bring forth the earth full of errors, then you meet Me while you do not associate anything (or anyone) with Me, I will bring forth for you its full of forgiveness.” [Sunan At-Tirmidhi - Classed as Hasan by Shaykh al-Albaani] **** The Mercy of Allah The Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “When Allah decreed the creation, He pledged Himself by writing in His Book which is laid down with Him: ‘My Mercy prevails over My Wrath.’” [Agreed Upon] **** Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 68, Number 453: Narrated Al-Bara: The Prophet said (on the day of Idal-Adha), "The first thing we will do on this day of ours, is to offer the ('Id) prayer and then return to slaughter the sacrifice. Whoever does so, he acted according to our Sunna (tradition), and whoever slaughtered (the sacrifice) before the prayer, what he offered was just meat he presented to his family, and that will not be considered as Nusak (sacrifice)." (On hearing that) Abu Burda bin Niyar got up, for he had slaughtered the sacrifice before the prayer, and said, "I have got a six month old ram." The Prophet said, 'Slaughter it (as a sacrifice) but it will not be sufficient for any-one else (as a sacrifice after you). Al-Bara' added: The Prophet said, "Whoever slaughtered (the sacrifice) after the prayer, he slaughtered it at the right time and followed the tradition of the Muslims." |
The Prophet Muhammad (sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:"If a human dies, then his good deeds stop except for three: a Sadaqa Jariah (continuous charity), a beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him". [Narrated by Muslim]
-------------------- "Hadith Qudsi 34:" On the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Allah the Almighty said: 'O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it.'" [At-Tirmidhi (also by Ahmad ibn Hanbal). Its chain of authorities is sound.] -------------------- Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's Apostle (saw) said: Islam is based on (the following) five (principles): 1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle. 2. To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly. 3. To pay Zakat (i.e. obligatory charity) . 4. To perform Hajj. (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca) 5. To observe fast during the month of Ramadan. Mourning
The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Allah has cursed the female who [mourns] by scratching her face, tearing open her clothing and lamenting her fortunes.” [Sunan Ibn Maajah and others and it is a Hasan (sound) Hadith] --------------------- Inflicting pain upon animals The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Allah has cursed the one who inflicts pain upon animals.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim] |

Narrated Salman-Al-Farsi (رضی الله تعالیٰ عنہ): The Prophet (ﺻﻠﯽ ﺍﻟﻠﮧ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ ﻋﻠﯿﮧ ﻭﺍٓﻟﮧ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ) said, "Whoever takes a bath on Friday, purifies himself as much as he can, then uses his (hair) oil or perfumes himself with the scent of his house, then proceeds (for the Jumua prayer) and does not separate two persons sitting together (in the mosque), then prays as much as ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) has written for him and then remains silent while the Imam is delivering the Khutba, his sins in-between the present and the last Friday would be forgiven." |
[B][U]Honouring Parents:
[/U][/B] As we conclude our ‘Honouring ones Parents’ series, it is a must that we revise some of the important points and benefits that we have gained regarding this great topic: Firstly: It is obedience to Allah and His Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And We have enjoined on man to be good and dutiful to his parents” [al-‘Ankaboot 29:8] “And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: ‘My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young’” [al-Israa’ 17:23] In al-Saheehayn it is reported that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: “The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) was asked which deed is the best? He said, ‘Faith in Allah and His Messenger, then honouring one’s parents…’” Secondly: obeying and honouring one’s parents is a means of entering Paradise, as it was reported in Saheeh Muslim from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “He is doomed, he is doomed, he is doomed.” It was said, “Who, O Messenger of Allaah?” He said, “The person whose parents, one or both of them, reach old age during his lifetime but he does not enter Paradise.” Thirdly: Respecting and honouring them brings friendship and love. Fourthly: respecting and obeying them is a way of showing gratitude to them because they are the ones who brought you into this world. You should also show gratitude towards them for bringing you up and taking care of you when you were young. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents” [Luqmaan 31:14] Fifthly: if a person honours his parents this may be the cause of his own children honouring him. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Is there any reward for good other than good?’ [al-Rahmaan 55:60] And lastly, maintaining the ties of kinship (which includes the parents) is a reason for having your lifespan extended and rizq (provision) increased. The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Whoever would like his rizq (provision) to be increased and his life to be extended, should uphold the ties of kinship.” [Sahihl Al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim] We ask Allah to make us from those who honor their parents and from those who maintain and uphold the ties of kinship. |
Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Beware, … for what else throws men into the Fire upon their faces or upon their noses, but the harvests of their tongues.” [Tirmidhi]

The seven shaded
The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “There are seven whom Allah will shade with His shade on the day when there will be no shade except His: the just ruler; a young man who grows up worshipping his Lord; a man whose heart is attached to the mosque; two men who love one another for the sake of Allah and meet and part on that basis; a man who is called by a woman of rank and beauty and says ‘I fear Allah’; a man who gives in charity and conceals it to such an extent that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives; and a man who remembers Allah when he is alone, and his eyes fill up.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim] |
The prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) said: «If anyone forgets that he is fasting and eats or drinks he should complete his fast, for it is only Allah Who has fed him and given him drink» [Al-Bukhari].

Kibr (Pride/Arrogance)
The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “No one who has an atom’s-weight of Pride in his heart will enter Paradise.” A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, what if a man likes his clothes and his shoes to look good?” He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Allah is Beautiful and loves beauty, Pride means rejecting the truth and looking down on people.” [Sahih Muslim] --------------------- Showing gratitude to Allah The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Allah is pleased with His slave who says: ‘Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah)’ when he takes a morsel of food and drinks a draught of water.” [Sahih Muslim] |
Narrated Um Kulthum bint Uqba: That she heard Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) saying, "He who makes peace between the people by inventing good information or saying good things, is not a liar." [Bukhari Volume 3 Book 49 No. 857]
-------------------- Narrated Anas bin Malik: While the Prophet and I were coming out of the mosque, a man met us outside the gate. The man said, "O Allah's Apostle! When will be the Hour?" The Prophet asked him, "What have you prepared for it?" The man became afraid and ashamed and then said, "O Allah's Apostle! I haven't prepared for it much of fasts, prayers or charitable gifts but I love Allah and His Apostle." The Prophet said, "You will be with the one whom you love." [Bukhari: 9.267] -------------------- REVIVE A SUNNAH ⇨ "SPREADING THE BEAUTIFUL TEACHING OF ISLAM" ✦ Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allâh be upon him) said: “Convey from me even if it is (only) one Ayah [i.e. Verse].” [Bukhari, 3461] Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allâh be upon him) said: “Whoever calls others to guidance will have a reward like the rewards of those who follow him, without that detracting from their reward in any way. And whoever calls others to misguidance will have a burden of sin like the burden of those who follow him, without that detracting from their burden in any way.” [Muslim, 2674] ••► Therefore, please take part in spreading the beautiful teachings of Islam.... -------------------- Narrated Ibn 'Umar (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): The Prophet (SAW) forbade that a man should be made to get up from his seat so that another might sit on it, but one should make room and spread out. Ibn 'Umar disliked that a man should get up from his seat and then somebody else sit at his place. Bukhari Vol. 8 : No. 287 -------------------- [COLOR="Green"]Hazrat Abu Osaid narrated that once, while he was sitting with the Holy Prophet, someone asked the Holy Prophet (pbuh) whether there were any steps which he could take to benefit his parents even after their death. The Holy Prophet (pbuh) replied, "Yes", there are four such things: (1) to pray for their deliverance and forgiveness, (2) to accomplish their promises and carry out the proper wills, (3) to respect and treat their friends well, (4) and to be nice and kind to those who are related to you through your parents." (Al Adab Al-Mufrad)[/COLOR] -------------------- [SIZE="2"][COLOR="Green"]Narrated by the grandfather of Bahz ibn Hakim; the same incident has also been reported by Abu Huraira: I asked, "Messenger of Allah, to whom should I be dutiful?" He replied, "Your mother." I asked, "Then whom?" He replied, "Your mother." I asked, "Then whom?" He replied, "Your mother." I asked, "Then whom?" He replied, "Your mother." I asked, "Then to whom should I be dutiful?" He replied, "Your father,and then the next closest relative and then the next."[/COLOR][/SIZE] -------------------- [COLOR="Indigo"]O people! Your God is one and your forefather (Adam) is one. An Arab is not better than a non-Arab and a non-Arab is not better than an Arab, and a red (i.e. white tinged with red) person is not better than a black person and a black person is not better than a red person, except in piety. Narrated in Mosnad Ahmad, #22978[/COLOR] -------------------- [COLOR="DarkSlateGray"]The Last Prophet (PBUH) said: "Verily the one who recites the Qur'an beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. And as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses (because he doesn't know how to read it but is trying to), then he will have TWICE that reward."[/COLOR] -------------------- [COLOR="Purple"]Narrated by Abdullah bin Umar (Radhiallaho anho): I asked Allah's Messenger (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam)said, "Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or an oppressed." A man said, "O Allah's Apostle! I will help him if he is oppressed, but if he is an oppressor, how shall I help him?" The Prophet said, "By preventing him from oppressing (others), for that is how to help him." Actions done regularly
The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “The dearest of actions to Allah is that which is done regularly, even if it is small.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim] --------------------- Understanding of the Deen The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the understanding of Deen.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim] --------------------- The first act you will be asked about The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The first thing for which a person will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayer. If it is sound, he will be successful, and if it is lacking in any way, he will be doomed. If his obligatory prayers are lacking, the Lord will say: “Look and see whether My slave has any voluntary prayers which may be used to make up what is lacking in his obligatory prayers.” Then all his deeds will be examined and dealt with in the same way.’” [Sunan al-Tirmidhi no. 413; see also Saheeh al-Jaami’, 2020] |
Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) said:"The superiority and
preference of the Holy Quran on all other books and sayings is the same as the superiority of Almighty over His creatures." -------------------- In a Hadith, Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) mentions, 'Verily Halaal is clear, and verily Haraam is clear. And between them there are certain doubtful matters many people are unaware of, therefore, who stays away from doubtful matters he has protected his Deen and honour. And who gets involved in doubtful matters, he would fall into Haraam.' (Bukhari; Muslim) -------------------- Narrated Anas bin Malik; The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “There is a tree in Paradise (which is so big and huge that) if a rider travels in its shade for one hundred years, he will not be able to cross it.” [Bukhari, Vol. 4, Hadith No. 474] -------------------- Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “He who displeased Allah for seeking the pleasure of people, Allah is displeased with him and those people are also displeased, for pleasing whom he had earned Allah’s displeasure. And he who pleases Allah, although by it he displeased people, Allah is pleased with him, and also those people whom he had displeased for pleasing Allah become pleased with him. Allah makes him splendid and his speech and acts in the eyes of others beautiful.” [Tibrani] |
Convey a message
Abdullah bin Umar (radi Allahu anhumaa) reported: The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Convey the message about me even if it be one verse and speak about the children of Israel for there is no harm in doing so and whoever purposely lies about me, then let them take their position in hellfire. [Sahih Al-Bukhari] --------------------- Mourning The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Allah has cursed the female who [mourns] by scratching her face, tearing open her clothing and lamenting her fortunes.” [Sunan Ibn Maajah and others and it is a Hasan (sound) Hadith] --------------------- The Miracle given to the Prophet The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “There was no Prophet but he was given signs (miracles) that would cause the people to believe in him. The one revealed to me was what Allah revealed to me (i.e. the Qur’an), so I hope that I may have more followers than them on the Day of Resurrection.” [Sahih Muslim] |
Volume 7, Book 71, Number 582:
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "There is no disease that Allah has created, except that He also has created its treatment." [Sahih Al Bukhari] -------------------- Abu Dharr (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Which action is the best?'' He (PBUH) said, "Faith in Allah and Jihad in the way of Allah.'' I asked: "Which neck (slave) is best (for emancipation)?'' He said, "That which is dearest of them in price and most valuable of them to its masters". I asked: "If I cannot afford (it)?'' He said, "Then help a labourer or work for one who is disabled". I asked: "If I cannot do (it)?'' He said, "You should restrain yourself from doing wrong to people, because it (serves as) charity which you bestow upon yourself". [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. -------------------- Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhum): Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "The invocation of anyone of you is granted (by Allah) if he does not show impatience (by saying, "I invoked Allah but my request has not been granted.") The strong man
Abu Hurayrah (radi Allahu anhu) reported the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “The strong man is not one who is good at wrestling, but the strong man is one who controls himself in a fit of rage.” [Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim] --------------------- When Allah intends good for His slave Anas (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “When Allah intends good for His slave, He punishes him in this world, but when He intends an evil for His slave, He does not hasten to take him to task but calls him to account on the Day of Resurrection.” [At-Tirmidhi] |
Narrated 'Aisha (رضى الله تعالى عنها):
Whenever thy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) go went to bed every night, he used to cup his hands together and blow over it after reciting Surat Al-Ikhlas, Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas, and then rub his hands over whatever parts of his body he was able to rub, starting with his head, face and front of his body. He used to do that three times. [Sahih Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 61, Number 536] -------------------- Prophet (s w s) said, 'The Dua of a person for his Muslim brother in his absence will be answered. At his head there is an angel, and every time he prays for him for something good, the angel who has been appointed to be with him, says, 'Ameen, may you have likewise.'- Sahih Muslim -------------------- Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "When Allah loves a slave, calls out Jibril and says: `I love so-and-so; so love him'. Then Jibril loves him. After that he (Jibril) announces to the inhabitants of heavens that Allah loves so-and-so; so love him; and the inhabitants of the heavens (the angels) also love him and then make people on earth love him". -------------------- Do not hate each other. Do not envy each other. Do not turn away from each other and be servants of Allah as brothers. It is not lawful for a Muslim to abandon his brother for more than 3 days. (Muslim Book 32 No. 6205) -------------------- On the authority of Uqbah ibn Amir (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Your Lord delights at a shepherd who, on the peak of a mountain crag, gives the call to prayer and prays. Then Allah (glorified and exalted be He) will say: 'Look at this servant of Mine, he gives the call to prayer and performs the prayers; he is in awe of Me. I have forgiven My servant [his sins] and have admitted him to Paradise.'" [An-Nasa'i with a good chain of authorities] -------------------- "Do you know what is better than charity and fasting and prayer? It is keeping peace and good relations between people, as quarrels and bad feelings destroy mankind." (Muslims & Bukhari) |
The Leader of the sons of Adam
The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “I will be the leader of the sons of Adam on the Day of Resurrection, and the first one for whom the grave is opened, and the first one to intercede and the first one whose intercession will be accepted.” [Sahih Muslim] --------------------- The Muslims Grey Hair The Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Grey hair is the light of a Muslim (on the Day of Resurrection). No Muslim turns grey in Islam but for every grey hair he will receive one reward and his status will be raised by one degree .” [Al-Baihaqi - Classed as Sahih by Sh al-Albaani in Silsilat al- Ahaadeeth al-Saheehah (1243)] --------------------- The Balance The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “The Balance will be set up on the Day of Resurrection, and even if the heavens and the earth were to be weighed in it, they would fit. The angels will say, ‘O Lord! Who will be weighed in this?’ Allah will say, ‘Whoever I will among My creation.’ The angels will say, ‘Glory be to You. We did not worship You as You deserved to be worshipped.’” [Al-Hakim - Classed as Sahih by Sh al-Albaani] --------------------- The importance of prayer The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “The first deed for which people will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be their prayer. Our Lord will say to His angels, ‘Look at the prayer of My slave whether it is complete.’ If it is complete, it will be recorded as being complete, but if anything is lacking, He will say, ‘Look and see whether My slave offered any voluntary prayers.’ If he did any voluntary prayers, He will say, ‘Complete My slave’s obligatory prayers from his voluntary prayers.’ Then all other deeds will be judged in the like manner.” [Abu Dawud - Classed as Sahih by Sh al-Albaani] |
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the nights." A man who takes an oath falsely that he has been offered for his goods so much more than what he is given, 2. a man who takes a false oath after the 'Asr prayer in order to grab a Muslim's property, and 3. a man who with-holds his superfluous water. Allah will say to him, "Today I will with-hold My Grace from you as you with-held the superfluity of what you had not created." -------------------- Reward for giving FULL salaam is 30 good deeds Imran bin Husayn(RA) recounts that once he and others were in the presence of the Prophet (Peace be upon him) when a man came and said, "assalmualikum ", to which the blessed Prophet (Peace be upon him) responded and said, "Ten" (i.e. the person who had greeted him had earned ten merits); then another man came and he "assalamu alaikum wa Rahmatullah", to which the Prophet (Peace be upon him) responded and said "Twenty" (i.e. the person had earned twenty merits). Finally a third man came and said "assalamu alaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatu", to which the exalted Prophet (Peace be upon him) responded and said, "Thirty" (i.e. the person had earned thirty merits) (Abu Daud, Tirmidhi, Jami al Usul, p. 602. vol 6) -------------------- Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Every night when it is the last third of the night, our Lord, the Superior, the Blessed, descends to the nearest heaven and says: Is there anyone to invoke Me that I may respond to his invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone asking My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?. " (Sahih Bukhari Book #93, Hadith #586) -------------------- “Whoever testifies that there in none worthy of being worshipped but God, Who has no partner, and that Muhammad is His slave and Prophet, and that Jesus is the Slave of God, His Prophet, and His word[1] which He bestowed in Mary and a spirit created from Him; and that Paradise (Heaven) is true, and that the Hellfire is true, God will eventually admit him into Paradise, according to his deeds.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari) |
The Most hated and despised before Allah
The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “The most hated and despised man before Allah on the Day of Resurrection will be a man who was called Maalikul Amlaak (the king of kings). There is no king except Allah.” [Sahih Muslim] --------------------- The people sweating on the Day of Resurrection The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “The people will sweat on the Day of Resurrection until their sweat penetrates seventy cubits into the earth, then it will come up to their ears.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari] --------------------- Visualising the Day of Resurrection The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Whoever wishes to look at the Day of Resurrection, as if he is seeing it with his eye, then let him recite: ‘When the sun Kuwwirat’ (Surah 81. At-Takweer) and ‘When the heaven is cleft asunder’ (Surah 82. Al-Infitar) and ‘When the heaven is split asunder (Surah 84. Al- Inshiqaaq).’” [At-Tirmidhi - Classed as Sahih by Sh al-Albaani] |
"Be mindful of Allah, [for] you will find Him before you. Get to know Allah in prosperity, and He will know you in adversity. Know that what has passed you by was not going to befall you, and that what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and ease with hardship." (Tirmidhi)

When something pleasing happens to him, he is grateful, and that is good for him; and when something displeasing happens to him, he is patient, and that is good for him." If you love the poor and bring them near you…God will bring you near Him on the Day of Resurrection.” ——— Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1376. --------------------- Hadrat Anas Radi ALLAH Taala Anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah Peace And Blessings Be Upon Him has said, “Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur’an is Yasin. Allah records anyone who recites Yasin as having recited the Qur’an ten times.” --------------------- Volume 2, Book 14, Number 64: Narrated Shu'aib: I asked Az-Zuhri, "Did the Prophet ever offer the Fear Prayer?" Az-Zuhri said, "I was told by Salim that 'Abdullah bin Umar I had said, 'I took part in a holy battle with Allah's Apostle I in Najd. We faced the enemy and arranged ourselves in rows. Then Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) stood up to lead the prayer and one party stood to pray with him while the other faced the enemy. Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) and the former party bowed and performed two prostrations. Then that party left and took the place of those who had not prayed. Allah's Apostle prayed one Raka (with the latter) and performed two prostrations and finished his prayer with Taslim. Then everyone of them bowed once and performed two prostrations individually.' " |
Belief and Uprightness
Sufiyan ibn ‘Abdullah ath-Thaqafi (radi Allahu anhu) once asked “O Messenger of Allah, tell me something about Islam which I won’t need to ask after you” – (in another narration: “other than you”.) The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) replied, “Say, ‘I believe in Allah,’ then be upright (remain steadfast).” [Sahih Muslim] --------------------- Leave that which makes you doubt The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt. Verily, truth is tranquillity and falsehood is doubt.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhi and Sunan al-Nasaai – Hadith Sahih] --------------------- Righteousness is good character The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Righteousness is good character. And sin is that which wavers in your soul and which you dislike the people finding out about.” [Sahih Muslim] --------------------- Tasting The Sweetness of Eemaan (Faith) Anas ibn Maalik (radi Allahu anhu) narrated that the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “There are three things which if a person finds them, he has found the sweetness of faith: when Allah and His Messenger are dearer to him than all else; when he loves a person for no other reason than for the sake of Allah; and when he hates to return to kufr after Allah has saved him from it as he would hate to be thrown into fire.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari] --------------------- Whoever among you sees an evil action: The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Whoever among you sees an evil action, then let him change it with his hand [by taking action]; if he cannot, then with his tongue [by speaking out]; and if he cannot, then with his heart – and that is the weakest of faith.” [Sahih Muslim] |
Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 87, Number 114:
Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (رضی الله تعالیٰ عنہ): The Prophet (ﺻﻠﯽ ﺍﻟﻠﮧ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ ﻋﻠﯿﮧ ﻭﺍٓﻟﮧ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ) said, "If anyone of you sees a dream that he likes, then it is from ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى), and he should thank ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) for it and narrate it to others; but if he sees something else, i.e., a dream that he dislikes, then it is from Satan, and he should seek refuge with ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) from its evil, and he should not mention it to anybody, for it will not harm him." |
The strong man
Abu Hurayrah (radi Allahu anhu) reported the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “The strong man is not one who is good at wrestling, but the strong man is one who controls himself in a fit of rage.” [Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim] --------------------- The Noble Wife Anas (radi Allahu anhu) reported: One of the sons of Abu Talhah (radi Allahu anhu) was ailing. Abu Talhah went out and the boy died in his absence. When he came back, he inquired, “How is the boy?”. Umm Sulaim, the mother of the boy, replied, “Better than before”. Then she placed his evening meal before him and he ate it; and thereafter slept with her. At last, she said to him: “Arrange for the burial of the boy”. In the morning, Abu Talhah went to Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) and informed him of the event. He enquired, “Did you sleep together last night?” Abu Talhah replied in the affirmative, on which the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) supplicated, “O Allah bless them.” Thereafter, she gave birth to a boy. Abu Talhah said to me: “Take up the boy and carry him to the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam)”; and he sent some dates with him. The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) enquired, “Is there anything with him?” He said; “Yes, some dates”. The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) took a date, chewed it and put it in the mouth of the baby and rubbed the chewed date around the baby’s gum and named him ‘Abdullah. [Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim] --------------------- Patience in Dawah Abdullah bin Mas’ud (radi Allahu anhu) reported: I can still recall as if I am seeing the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) resembling one of the Prophets whose people scourged him and shed his blood, while he wiped blood from his face, he said: “O Allah! Forgive my people, because they certainly do not know.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] --------------------- Patience in all situations Abu Sa’id and Abu Hurayrah (radi Allahu anhum) reported that the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Never a believer is stricken with a discomfort, an illness, an anxiety, a grief or mental worry or even the pricking of a thorn but Allah will expiate his sins on account of his patience.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] |
Book 001, Number 0013:
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Ayyub RA that a man came to the Prophet (may peace be upon him) and said: Direct me to a deed which draws me near to Paradise and takes me away from the Fire (of Hell). Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) said: You worship Allah and never associate anything with Him, establish prayer, and pay Zakat, and do good to your kin. When he turned his back, the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) remarked: If he adheres to what he has been ordered to do, he would enter Paradise. [Sahih Al Bukhari] --------------------- Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever goes down a path/road searching for Knowledge, Allah will make it easy for him the road to Paradise.” (Muslim, Vol.3 Hadith No. 99) Masha'Allah, may we all achieve Paradise. Ameen. --------------------- A man asked the Prophet , "What sort of deeds or (what qualities of) Islam are good?" The Prophet replied, 'To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not Know. --------------------- Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "O you who have entered Islam with your tongues but whose hearts faith has not entered: do not slander people, and do not ferret out people's shameful points. Whoever searches out the shameful points of his brother, Allah will search out his shameful points, and if Allah searches out a person's shameful points, be sure that He will disgrace him even if he should remain in the middle of his house." [Abu Dawud] --------------------- "Whenever a beggar came to Allah's Apostle or he was asked for something, he used to say (to his companions), "Help and recommend him and you will receive the reward for it; and Allah will bring about what He will through His Prophet's tongue." Sahih Bukhari. (Book #24, Hadith #512) --------------------- Narrated `Aaishah: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "While the angels talk amidst the clouds about things that are going to happen on earth, the devils hear a word of what they say and pour it in the ears of a soothsayer as one pours something in a bottle, and they add one hundred lies to that (one word)." [Bukhaaree (3210, 3288) and Saheeh Muslim (2230)] --------------------- Aa’isha (Radiallaho anha) narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu `alaihi wasallam once said, "One who is well versed in the Qur'an will be in the company of those angels who are scribes, noble and righteous; and one who falters in reading the Qur'an, and has to exert hard for learning, gets double the reward." (Muslim) Ibn Mas'oad RadiyAllahu `anhu narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu `alaihi wasallam said, "Whoever reads one letter of the Book of Allah is credited with one blessing and one blessing is equal to tenfold the like thereof in its reward. I do not say that الم (Alif Lam Meem) is one letter, but '(ا )' (Alif) is one letter, ' ( ل )’ (Lam) is one letter, and '( م )' (Meem) is one letter." (Tirmidhi) |
The allies of Allah, The Exalted
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (radi Allahu anhu) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Surely, Allah, The Exalted, said, “Whoever shows enmity to an ally of Mine, I have waged war upon him. My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more beloved to Me than what I have obligated upon him. My servant continues to draw near to Me with the voluntary acts until I love him. Once I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he grasps, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask of Me, I would surely grant it to him. If he were to seek refuge with Me, I would surely protect him.” [Sahih al-Bukhari] --------------------- Whoever removes a grief from a believer Abu Hurayrah (radi Allahu anhu) said that the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Whoever removes a grief from a believer from amongst the sorrows of this life, Allah will remove a grief from him amongst the sorrows of the Day of Resurrection. Whoever brings ease to one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this life and the Hereafter. Whoever covers a Muslim, Allah will cover him in this life and the Hereafter. Allah is in aid of the servant so long as the servant is in aid of his brother. Whoever traverses a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make a path to Paradise easy for him. No people gather in one of the houses of Allah reciting the Book of Allah and studying it amongst themselves, except that tranquillity descends upon them, mercy envelopes them, the Angels surround them, and Allah mentions them amongst those who are with Him. Whosoever is slowed down by his actions will not be sped forward by his lineage.” [Sahih Muslim] --------------------- Do not harm and do not be a cause of harm Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree (radi Allahu anhu) said that the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Do not harm and do not be a cause of harm.” [Hadith Hasan related by Ibn Maajah and ad-Daaraqutnee] --------------------- A Broad Collection of Good Deeds The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Purification is half of Eman, Alhamdulillah fills the scale, Subhanallah and Alhamdulillah fill what is between the heaven and the earth, prayer is light, charity is evidence, and patience is illumination. The Qur’an is a proof for you or against you. Every person begins his day as a vendor of his soul either freeing it or ruining it. [Sahih Muslim] --------------------- The Prohibition of Anger Abu Hurayrah (radi Allahu anhu) said: A man said to the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), “Advise me.” He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Do not become angry.” The man repeated his request several times and He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Do not become angry.” [Sahih al-Bukhari] |
Narrated Abu Waqid Al-Laithi:
While Allah's Apostle was sitting in the mosque with some people, three men came. Two of them came in front of Allah's Apostle and the third one went away. The two persons kept on standing before Allah's Apostle for a while and then one of them found a place in the circle and sat there while the other sat behind the gathering, and the third one went away. When Allah's Apostle finished his preaching, he said, "Shall I tell you about these three persons? One of them be-took himself to Allah, so Allah took him into His grace and mercy and accommodated him, the second felt shy from Allah, so Allah sheltered Him in His mercy (and did not punish him), while the third turned his face from Allah and went away, so Allah turned His face from him likewise. " --------------------- Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "True faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and in divine destiny (qada wa qadar), its good and its evil." [Bukhari] --------------------- The Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) said "When you meet anyone who has performed Hajj, greet him, shake hands with him,beseech him to pray for the forgiveness of your sins before he reaches home,because he is in the state that decision of forgiveness has been taken for him." (Musnad Ahmed) --------------------- On the authority of Abu Malik al-Harith bin 'Asim al-Ash'ari, radiyallahu 'anhu, who said: The Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, said: "Purification is half of iman (faith). Saying 'Al-Hamdulillah' (Praise be to Allah) fills the scales. Saying 'Subhanallah wa al-Hamdulillahi' (Exhalted be Allah and Praise be to Allah) fills the space between the heavens and the earth. Salah (prayer) is a light. Sadaqah (charity) is a proof. Sabr (patience) is a shining glory. The Qur'an is an argument either for you or against you. Everybody goes out in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves." [Muslim] --------------------- Narrated Abu Aiyub Al-Ansari: Allah's Apostle(PBUH) said, "It is not lawful for a man to desert his brother Muslim for more than three nights. The Miracle given to the Prophet
The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “There was no Prophet but he was given signs (miracles) that would cause the people to believe in him. The one revealed to me was what Allah revealed to me (i.e. the Qur’an), so I hope that I may have more followers than them on the Day of Resurrection.” [Sahih Muslim] --------------------- Saying ‘Ameen’ The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “When the Imam says: ‘Ghair-il-Maghdubi ‘Alaihim Walad-Dhallin [not the path of those who earn Your Anger, nor the path of those who went astray (Qur’an 1:7)]’, then you must say, ‘Ameen’, for if one’s utterance of ‘Ameen’ coincides with that of the angels, then his past sins will be forgiven.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari] --------------------- The greatest name of Allah appears in three surahs of the Qur’an The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The greatest name of Allah appears in three surahs of the Qur’an: in al-Baqarah, Aal ‘Imraan and Ta-Ha.” [Sunan Ibn Majaah Classed as Hasan by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Sahihah] --------------------- Reciting Surat al-Kaafiroon before sleeping Nawfal al-Ashja’i (radi Allahu anhu) said: The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said to me: “Recite Qul yaa ayyuha’l-kaafiroon then go to sleep at the end of it, for it is a disavowal of shirk.” [Sunan Abu Dawood and al-Tirmidhi; Classed as Sahih by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood] --------------------- Do not turn your houses into graveyards, Recite Qur’an The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Do not turn your houses into graveyards. The Prophet (SAW) said - " A true beliver is not involved in taunting or frequently cursing(others) or indecency or abusing" (AL- Tirmidhi)
--------------------- Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his fasting.)" Vol 3, Bk 31, No: 127 [sahih bukhari] --------------------- Narrated Al-Mughira: The Prophet said, "Allah has forbidden you ( 1 ) to be undutiful to your mothers (2) to withhold (what you should give) or (3) demand (what you do not deserve), and (4) to bury your daughters alive. And Allah has disliked that (A) you talk too much about others ( B), ask too many questions (in religion), or (C) waste your property." --------------------- The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "There are two statements that are light for the tongue to remember, heavy in the Scales and are dear to the Merciful: `Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-Azim [Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection)'.'' [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] --------------------- Narrated Abu Hurayrah (R.A): Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said: The people most loved by me from amongst my Ummah would be those who would come after me but everyone amongst them would have the keenest desire to catch a glimpse of me even at the cost of his family and wealth. [sahihMuslim] --------------------- “He whom death overtakes while he is engaged in acquiring knowledge with a view to reviving Islam with the help of it, there will be one degree between him and the Prophets in Paradise .” [Al-Tirmidhi Hadith no. 249. Anas (رضي الله عنه) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When one of you performs supplication, he should supplicate with conviction and should not say: O Allah, confer upon me if You wish, for there is none to compel Allah.”
[Sahih Muslim, Book 035, Number 6477] --------------------- Abu Huraira () reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah has 99 Names. Whoever memorizes (and acts upon) them will enter Paradise.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 035, Number 6476] --------------------- Abu Huraira () reported: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: “I am near to the thought of My servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My Heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near Me by the cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two hands. And if he walks towards Me, I rush towards him.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 035, Number 6471] --------------------- Narrated Hammam (): Hudhaifa () said, “O townspeople! Remain upright (upon the Straight Path) and you have taken a great lead, but if you swerve right or left then you will fall into extreme error.” [Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 92, Number 386] --------------------- Abu Huraira (رضي الله عنه) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When the human being dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 013, Number 4005] |
It was narrated by Abu Huraira (radiyAllâhu 'anhu) that the Prophet (SallAllâhu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said:
“If somebody commits a sin and then says, 'O my Lord! I have sinned, please forgive me!' and his Lord says,► 'My slave has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for it, I therefore have forgiven my slave (his sins)…’” [Narrated by Bukhari: Book 9 Vol 93 Hadith 598; Muslim: Book 37 Hadith 6642 ] |
Anas ibn Malik () reported: A man of the Ansar came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and begged from him. He (ﷺ) asked: “Have you nothing in your house?” He replied: “Yes, a piece of cloth, a part of which we wear and a part of which we spread (on the ground), and a wooden bowl from which we drink water.” He (ﷺ) said: “Bring them to me.” He then brought these articles to him and he (ﷺ) took them in his hands and asked: “Who will buy these?” A man said: “I will buy them for one dirham.” He said twice or thrice: “Who will offer more than one dirham?” A man said: “I will buy them for two dirhams.” He gave these to him and took the two dirhams and, giving them to the Ansari, he said: “Buy food with one of them and hand it to your family, and buy an axe and bring it to me.” He then brought it to him. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) fixed a handle on it with his own hands and said: “Go, gather firewood and sell it, and do not let me see you for a fortnight.” The man went away and gathered firewood and sold it. When he had earned ten dirhams, he came to him and bought a garment with some of them and food with the others. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then said: “This is better for you than that begging should come as a spot on your face on the Day of Judgment. Begging is right only for three people: one who is in grinding poverty, one who is seriously in debt, or one who is responsible for compensation and finds it difficult to pay.”
[Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 9, Number 1637] --------------------- Abu Huraira () reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Do not envy, and do not outbid each other,[i] and do not hate, and do not turn away, and do not outsell each other, and be servants of Allah as brothers! The Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He does not wrong him or humiliate him or look down upon him. Taqwa (mindfulness of Allah) is here!” and he pointed to his chest three times. “It is sufficient evil for a person to look down upon his brother Muslim. All of the Muslim is sacred to another Muslim: his life, his wealth, and his honor.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 032, Number 6219] --------------------- Abu Huraira () reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Beware of speculation, for speculation is the most false speech. Do not seek out faults or spy on each other. Do not contend with or envy each other. Do not hate each other or turn away from each other. Indeed, I have relatives with whom I try to relate but they cut me off. I treat them well, but they treat me badly. I am forbearing with them, but they are harsh with me.” So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “If it is as you say, then it is as if you threw hot ashes (i.e. they are earning sin), and there would always remain with you (support) from Allah that will keep you prominent over them as long as you adhere to this behavior.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 032, Number 6204] --------------------- Righteousness is to have good character, sin is known by human nature Nawwas b. [B]Hadith on Remembrance:[/B] If you walk to Allah, He will rush to you
Abu Huraira () reported: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: “I am near to the thought of My servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My Heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near Me by the cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two hands. And if he walks towards Me, I rush towards him.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 035, Number 6471] --------------------- [B]Marriage[/B] Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 3090 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah Allah's Messenger (saws) said, 'When someone with whose religion and character you are satisfied asks your daughter in marriage, accede to his request. If you do not do so, there will be temptation on earth and extensive corruption.' --------------------- It was narrated that ‘Abdullah ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man complained to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he felt something whilst praying -- should he stop his prayer? Whoever does not enter Paradise through good treatment of Parents has suffered a tremendous loss
Abu Huraira () reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “May he be humbled! Again, may he be humbled! Again, may he be humbled!” It was said: “O Messenger of Allah, who?” He (ﷺ) said: “The one who sees his parents grow old, one or both of them, and he does not enter Paradise.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 032, Number 6189] --------------------- The Importance of Understanding Religion, and the Muslim nation will persevere Narrated Muawiya (): I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, “If Allah intends good (for someone), He bestows understanding of the religion. It is the day when Adam entered paradise and also when he was taken out from it. It is also the day on which the day of judgment takes place." ·by Imam Muslim, Abo-Dawod, Al-Nesaii, and Al-Termithi --------------------- Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): The most frequent invocation of The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) was: أَللّهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ "O Allah! Give to us in the world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire." (2.201) [Bukhari Vol. 8 : No. 398] --------------------- It was narrated by Abu Huraira (radiyAllâhu 'anhu) that the Prophet (SallAllâhu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: “If somebody commits a sin and then says, 'O my Lord! Hadith on Arrogance: The kings of the earth who arrogantly exalted themselves will be the worst on the Day of Judgment
Abu Huraira narrated (): The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) related many hadith, and one of them was that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “On the Day of Judgment, the most vile person to Allah, the most filthy and the most wretched, is a person who was called King of Kings, but there is no King but Allah.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 025, Number 5339] --------------------- The Muslims did not criticize each other for following valid differences of opinion in Fiqh Narrated Anas bin Malik (): “We used to travel with the Prophet and neither did those who fasted criticize those who did not fast, nor did those who did not fast criticize those who fasted.” [Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 31, Number 168] --------------------- There are many Gates through which you can enter Paradise Narrated Abu Huraira (): The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Whoever gives two kinds (of property) in charity for the cause of Allah will be called from the gates of Paradise and will be addressed, ‘O servant of Allah! Here is good.’ So, whoever was from the people who offered prayers will be called from the gate of prayer; and whoever was from the people who used to strive in jihad will be called from the gate of jihad; and whoever was from those who observed fasts will be called from the gate of Ar-Rayaan; and whoever was from those who gave in charity will be called from the gate of charity.” Abu Bakr said, “Let my parents be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah! No distress or need will afflict whoever is called from those gates. Will there be anyone who is called from all these gates?” The Prophet replied, “Yes, and I hope you will be one of them.” [Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 31, Number 121] --------------------- The best charity is given from your wealth to your needy family members Narrated Abu Huraira (): The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “The best charity is what you give when wealthy, and you should start with (spending on) your dependents.” [Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 64, Number 269] --------------------- Taking care of daughters leads to Paradise Narrated Ibn Abbas (): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “There is no Muslim who has two daughters and takes good care of them except that he will enter Paradise.” [Al-Bukhari, Al-Adab Al-Mufrab #77] --------------------- Hadith on Charity: Spending on your family is an act of charity Narrated Abu Mas’ud Al-Ansari (رضي الله عنه): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “When a Muslim spends something on his family intending (to receive Allah’s reward) it is regarded as charity for him.” [Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 64, Number 263] |

Shahi Bukhari Hadith 275 {Volume 3, Book 34} ; Narrated By : Abu Huraira [RAZI-ALLAHU-ANHU] --------------------- Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, "If anyone forgets a prayer he should pray that prayer when he remembers it. There is no expiation except to pray the same." Then he recited: "Establish prayer for My (i.e. Allah's) remembrance." (20.14). Hadees no.571, The Book Of Times Of The Prayers, Sahi Bukhari --------------------- The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said: “The most burdensome prayers for the hypocrites are salaat al-’isha’ andsalaat al-fajr, but if they only knew what they contain, they would come even if they had to crawl.”(Reported by Imaam Ahmad, al-Musnad, 2/424;Saheeh al-Jaami’, 133). --------------------- This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Jabir b. 'Abdullah through different chains of transmitters and the words are: " That the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: He who shows no mercy to the people, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, does not show mercy to him." Hadith on Divine Mercy: Allah created mercy in ninety-nine parts, only one which is sent to earth
Narrated Abu Huraira (): I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, “Indeed, Allah created Mercy. The day He created it, He made it into one hundred parts. He kept with Him ninety-nine parts, and sent one part to all His creatures. Had the disbeliever known the Mercy which is in the Hands of Allah, he would not lose hope of entering Paradise; and had the believer known the punishment which is with Allah, he would not consider himself safe from the Hellfire.” [Sahih Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 76, Number 476] --------------------- Hadith on Contentment: True richness is the richness of the soul Narrated Abu Huraira (): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Richness is not having many possessions.
