Default What is R A K?

Dear All,

Something that has been intriguing me for quite some time. May be its silly to ask, but can anyone of you tell me what does R A K stand for?
The one that is written on the rear screens of taxi's and rickshaws. R A K ? what?
R at one end A in the middle and then K on the other end....its simply found on every other taxi....? There must be a simple answer but it will spare me the itch i get on seeing "RAK" everytime, Ras al Khaimah doesn't make sense and thats the only answer google gives.

Default wowww !!

hey the same thing intrigued me and in quest of knowledge i stumbled upon your post

My research says

It is abbreviation for

"RANDOM ACT of KINDNESS"

It seems plausible to be written behind taxis, rickshaws etc asking for a random act of kindness on the road but i wonder if they know the meaning ,i think this sticker has been copy pasted from some other culture without thinking what it means like mostly done in Pakistan

Satisfy yourself with this answer(Atleast I have done so) ,it is must to keep you away from any heart trouble and provide you peace of mind

P.S. I think this post is a proof that CTP is taking too long to start and all the Future civil servants have thought about everything in the world and still they have time on their hands and amubarik from now on you can drive with better concentration i hope

@ Syed Saadat, thanks for the reply. Only these past months I am so busy at my job I dont even find the time to log on to the forum. It is kind of embaressing, but the situation in Pakistan is described as 'complex emergency' in the office. Its just by chance that I logged on after weeks and find an attempt to answer my months old query. I dont think it means random act of kindness though...How....? we have such an extensive variety of stuff painted and pasted on our trucks, taxis and rickshaws and every thing is local. one doest find it any where else, how can a random act of kindness land in the middle of Maan ki Dua;Jannat ki Hawa and Horn De Ke Pass Karain?

Default You are difficult...

well i also have similar doubts with this one but i convinced myself (though with a lot of difficulty) that may be these stickers are imported form china etc with other car accessories and the stickers became a hit and the trend just caught up

I know this is very unconvincing but atleast it is remotely possible

Its nice to know that I got so lucky that you logged in after months and i posted it only a few hours before that. I think this is an "omen" that my thesis about RAK might just be correct

I hope someone comes up with a better logic ,till then stick to my logic
