I want to resign from Govt job. Need sincere advice
 

AOA I have been selected as Sub Inspector. I have spoiled my css n pms attempts due to immature attempts. Recently I have passed my LLB examination from private college. I am not satisfied with this job due to working environment n attitude of seniors. Please guide should I resign job n start practice as a lawyer. Family opposing resignation. Need advice. My future question plz

Brother, imagine yourself as a 70 years old man, and see your life in retrospect. Was it worth sticking to your job or was it expedient to go for advocacy. You'll have the answer.

It's good that you've completed you LLB degree. Aside from the joblessness prevailing in Pakistan and the world all over, if you look at it in an another perspective that you are being tested by giving this job to see whether you fight or resign. It is a duty of educated people to try and positively change the corrupt system.. Every post has a learning framework you need to find it out.
Further, after you LLB degree you are eligible for BS-17 (Assistant Direct) job in many agencies as well as departments like FIA, NAB etc.
So you better accept the challenge and appear as a hero not only for yourself but for our beleaguered nation as well. You can also get peace of mind by helping poor and exploited people.

if you are not satisfied in your job, then must resign and start practice as a lawyer, if someone has good command on English speaking, he becomes a good lawyer.

Don't resign. Making career as lawyer without any references is not easy. If you really don't want to continue your career in police, start apply for other jobs but don't leave until you find better job. Apply for BPS-17 jobs on the basis of LLB degree.
If you have reference in some good LAW associates, then you can resign and start your practice as lawyer.
Secondly you can change the attitude of seniors towards you with your behavior.

No i won't suggest resignation.. try to fit in whatevere the attitude and enviornment is cause if you can't here whats the guarentee you will in other field??? Consider all the social benifits and costs first then go for whatevet decision you think better...

Take leave from your dept. and try to apply for other job.

please don't resign.... keep trying for some other permanent posts if you are not ready to continue here, when you get a green signal from any other department then resign,, otherwise don't.

To the best of my understanding, you simply wanna get rid of job because of senior's humiliating attitude. I am also a Govt Officer and can best understand your feelings. If you think that being a lawyer, you will resort to angles type of people, it is your misconception. We all people being a nation has lost all moral authorities and not more than a crowd. At least to me, nation is the name of decent, well disciplined and refined people but our government/private sectors people are void of these facts. My brother, you have to encounter same sort of people in every field. So resignation does not feasible option at the moment for you. Resignation is only right option if you wanna to start in business in personal and private capacity otherwise court, lawyers, police, govt, private sectors all are red handed with same nature of filthy atmosphere.
