Does twelve years age gap between groom and bride is acceptable in Pakistani society.

Depends upon the situation.if bride is 12 years older than bridegroom then it is completely unacceptable.on the other hand if bridegroom is 12 years or even in some cases 20 years old than bride,marriage is acceptable.
Our society is mascuiline centered.If unable to secure marriage before 30 years of age,Girls are seen as defective.I know a 32 years old ladywho is highly intelligent ,educated and beautiful but she didnot get marriage proposals due to her age.she is one of my acquaintances.

You are correct but aside from society being male-centered, there are other more persuasive reasons that support the case for older man marrying a younger woman and not otherwise. Even in so-called balanced societies I have hardly seen older females married to a much younger male. The actual reason behind it is because males remain sexually active much longer than females do. As for the answer to original posters questions, yes, its ok. 12 years isn't that big a difference.
