Resignation from service and availing leave

AOA every one,

I have few questions about resignations from Permanent Govt. Service. It will be appreciated if some one may kindly clarify queries. The questions are as follows:

1. I think the notice period is three months for resignation from service, so can I give apply for waiver of notice period against my salary ? If yes do I have to pay three months salary in cash or What?

2. I have 300 days of EL in my account, can I go on leave for three months and ask them to consider my three months leave as notice period? as I need to resign immediately?

3. My situation is that I have to immediately go out of Pakistan to avail an excellent opportunity, which i don't want to miss? My option is to go on ex-Pakistan leave and then resign from there but that is not a viable option as I want to leave my job on good note? Any advice in this regard would be appreciated.

1. The notice period in Govt. organizations is one month. If you resign without serving your notice period your one month pay will be deducted from your GPF.

2. You can resign whenever you want, I Don't think there is an option for waiver of notice period unless your officers are very cooperative.

3. Govt employees can go for 02 years ex-Pakistan leave, so if you can get it you have your job secure here, in case things go against the plan. (I hope it shouldn't happen).

Or simply resign immediately, your one month salary wouldn't be a comparison with the lucrative offer you got from abroad.
