Nust MS admission with low GPA but high GAT score

I wanted to know about the possibility of getting admitted into NUST MS program at Seecs or Eme with a lot GPA but a high GAT score. My CGPA in undergrad is 2.43 but I've scored 90 marks in GAT General with 99.99 percentile and I know that GAT accounts for 50% of the total merit. So I wanted to know if I have a shot at getting admitted or not? Thanks in advance.

Gre books for English and Quantitative portions, specifically Manhattan prep and 1014 questions. For analytical, I studied the sample papers for GAT, most of the analytical questions are quite similar, so if you practice how to dissect information from those sample papers, then you can do it easily on the exam too.

I have seen students having gpa like 2.3 , 2.1 , 2.4 etc etc . You have a fair chance of getting admission . Department does not matter . At the end , in your interview their main concern will be that whether you will be able to give your time for Masters or not . And , with it however you can avail scholarships after your admission but during interview they will ask you about your background so that they will know that you will be able to pay fees or not . Important things are these ones , in NUST before giving admission at Masters level the main thing they see is the seriousness of student and the thing that whether the student needs it or not to get selected.

At the end of May or maybe at the start of June , you will get a mail regarding interview , that's what i got 2 years ago;

''Your application in 651 Environmental Engineering, SCEE Islamabad (Evening) for Postgraduate admission at NUST has been accepted. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview in June/July 2015 in their applied discipline. You will not be considered for final selection if your GAT score is not verified by NTS."

And then, at the end of June or at the start of July , you will get a call for interview that's they will tell you that your interview is on next week or at this date .

" You are hereby informed that subject interview will be held at 1000 hours on 02 July 2015 at NUST "

That was the procedure a year or two years ago . This time , i hope that things will be the same . I have just copy pasted some lines from the mails that i got from them PG admission sectoin . Hope it will help .
