Re-seller Business Law in Pakistan.
Hi all,
I have a question regarding the business laws of Pakistan. Is there a law/license that states that an Electric Store owner can not sell Potatoes at his/her store? I know, Potatoes at an Electric Store sound a little funny but what about more relevant things like electric piping. While constructing our house, I observed that whenever I needed to buy wires and pipes I had to visit two different stores for each item class, respectively. Besides, why can't (or doesn't) the same shop maintain a small inventory of paint as well. I mean, I can understand if there isn't much profit margin in Paint, so he/she doesn't bother to sell paint. But otherwise, is there a specific license/law that states that an electric store can not sell hardware? Or does this increase the tax percentage? Or what? May be some tax or business law expert can assist us here? I have heard of similar laws in some countries though. But where can I find information on Pakistan's regulations? |
