Default Maternity Leave Policy

I wanted to know, if there are any rules/policies in pakistan for maternity leave?
I'm posting this on behalf of someone who is a govt. employee, and she had applied for maternity leave close to her delivery, but she was granted only two months leave and now she wants to write another application to extend her leaves further

so anybody, who has some information regarding this, may please answer
