Assalam o Alaikum
Guys I have an important question that why do ppl become silent when I tell them that I am doing llb.
It's like they don't give importance to law.
Why?

It has more to do with the fascination people have with STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

so humanities, arts, llb and now even BBA degrees often tend to get overlooked.

Walaikumsalam,

LLB is the way to get multi-dimensional knowledge with a wide and bright futuristic scope.

Concentrate on your studies, get the quality education and be a legal expert like M.A Jinnah, Aitzaz Ahsan, S.M Zafar, Asma Jahangir etc. then such Silent people will remain Silent (but in a different way)

Lawyers in general are considered as corrupt. They find difficulties in getting house for rent and for finding spouse. Sorry to say by people do not like lawyers. I will suggest you to not put an ear to what other say people never stop criticizing.

Yes, ironically people under value subject of social sciences. It seems only doctors, engineers(they are also loosing ground nowadays ) and army men have respect in our society.

I will suggest you to work hard in life and achieve something. Try doing business and earn well for life. People will automatically start giving you respect when you have 2 kanal house and an imported car.
