Best of luck in finding accommodation and CSS.
I'm really glad to hear that Sir. I can imagine the Midas touch being the brother of a CSS qualifier blesses one with. I wish him all the luck in this world if he's also planning to appear in CE-2020.

And thanks for well wishes.

My brother is a bit of liberal extremist. So, I doubt he can pass all subjects with those kinds of views. He has also lost interest in CSS and lastly, unfortunately, he is over-aged. Thanks for the wishes though. Really appreciate them

Dang! I used to be one of his kind too but I've softened my take on such issues. You can afford to disagree agreeably but its absurd to lose your cool once you get in an argument. The British Parliamentary debates that we used to have back at LUMS helped me overcome my temper issues considerably but I'm not quite sure if I'll be able to satisfy the conservative examiners.

I've apparently found the solution to my problem. There are a couple hostels on Jail road that aren't too far from World Times Institute and they're really close to Quaid E Azam Library. The hostels that I've found are, New Sadiq Mansion and Najma Mansion on Jail road near Daily Pakistan Newspaper office. There's another named one Abdullah hostel, its in the same lane albeit a bit down the way where Jail road conjoins Ferozpur road and there are a few more in the surroundings on Ganga Ram hospital. I'll update all of you regarding my choice so that no other member faces the same issue when looking for accommodation in the vicinity.

Take my advise on this., you cannot afford to disagree agreeably when it comes to some subjects otherwise examiner might lose his temper, and the one losing the marks would be you, who might have put in hours of study to prepare for a certain subject. In the end, though, all that matters is your choice. I might be exaggerating things a little, but there is nothing wrong with erring on the side of caution. (For example, disagreeing agreeably with ideology of Pakistan)

Ahan! I argue on really sensitive topics with intellectual people around me just to figure out their views on the issue and use them for my own good when needed. I'm probably going to write what the examiner expects from me but I can't help it sometimes, its kind of innate. I'll try to avoid controversies when writing my exam. I tend to forget that the people outside our universities are less forgiving.

You don't have to write according to expectation of the examiner. You can freely express your views, even on sensitive topics.. However, on sensitive topics, especially on matters relating to ideology of Pakistan, and opinions that contravene the very basic tenets of Islam, you should be moderate and prefer to err on the side of caution. This is all I am saying, Rest is your choice, as I said earlier. With your level of English proficiency, it would be a shame to see you fail CSS because of some minor error or whim of examiner. With sufficient hard work, I am 200% sure you can easily sail through CSS.

What you said is nectar to my ears! I can’t thank you enough for all of your support. It means the world to me, confidence is what I crave right now. I'll take your words to heart and avoid any sort of controversy on such topics. CSS is all about perseverance, no matter how good you are. I'm all for effort and I've prepped myself for it well in advance. The only thing I didn't do was to find a hostel beforehand but the issue will hopefully be resolved today. I'll do my best to live up to your expectations. Regards.
