Question Urgent Help Needed?

Dear Dudes!

AOA

I have been coming up with chronic depression for the last couple of years, which encumbered my course towards CSS or other competitive exams. Nowadays, it has puffed-up to a scale that is causing concentration cramps and memory loss, even if i am under treatment with a Psychiatrist. I feel very hard while reading my books; I can not properly concentrate and even cram where needed. I am likely to appear in CSS 2010. I would foresee an urgent guideline

Dear Abdul Salam Khan,

I felt really sorry about ur pain we pray for ur quick recovery from this chronic depression. it is indeed a great obstacle while studying. but if we look around and keep an eye on the life of the succeful officers it is part of life. all the seccessful candidates hve their dreadful stories. we ve to pass these exams amid these crisis. some ve love stories, some hve domestic problems etc.
we must follow our dreams n targets no matter how many skies hve fallen. firm belief n determination wil lead you towards ur goals. keep praying to Almighty Allah n offer the prayers regular which will relieve you from depression. recite the holy Quran n get help from Almighty Allah.
try to read again n again thus u will get relief from tiresome method of craming. read newspapers, it is an interesiting hoby which will help and prepare you from every subject of css. focus on your optionals subjects after some entertainement of reading newspapers.
Best wishes for ur attempt of CSS.

Dear Abdul Salam Khan.... i m very sorry about your problem. it is a very painful situation. my friend the first thing that u should do is to free your mind from all the worries. make a list of all the blessings of Allah that you have. these would all be your plus points. and this is your real strength. count all the blessings and say thanks to ALLAH. more than you can..... and try to believe in Allah, your family friends doctors and medicine you are using. make your believes stronger.... and namaz.... there can be no more effective treatment of tension and anxiety and depression then namaz. and one thing more that is the instant solution of all your problems is listening to the quran and specially Sura rhman

One step enough 4 u

There is not a urgent solution to ur problem.Give urself enough time to heal,bcuz u urself had piled up the depression for so many years.The problem u faced rite now is exactly da same that i faced lastyr.i'll give u da guideline how i coped with it.n still doin the same.

I constantly feeded my mind dat whatever happened 2me is because of me,i'm responsible 4 the mess,so i have to 'DO sumthing productive'.(I took the complete responsibility of my life) basically if u have to cope with depression then u have to change urself alltogether.If u look
at ur previous post then u'll find that u didn't 'train' ur brain 2look 4 da solution yourself.U hav constantly feeded ur brain 2look 4 da solutions frm external world.Actually the point is,if u want 2come out of this depression the core solution lies within urself.In da past u hav diverted ur focus 2wards da problem now u simply hav2 divert ur focus 2wards da solution.

For every ailment under the sun their is remedy or their is none;if there
be one try to find it;if there be none never mind it.


Surround urself with da ppl who cares u the most.If u want to feel satisfied then try 2 strengthen ur spiritual bond with Allah.Involve urself in helping others unconditionally,it will give u satisfaction.The 'quickest' solution 2wards ur problem is 2to get yourself 'mentally busy'.Be on the driving seat of ur life otherwise these useless emotions will lead u no where.

Because Allah will never change the grace which he hath bestowed on a people untill they change what is in their(own) souls:and verily Allah is He who hearth and knoweth(all things) Al-Quran

The short span of concentration is a natural problem if u hav depression.My suggestion is to "go ahead"without evaluating ur progress with others.If u r unable 2cram the quotations den focus simply on the main essence.Read continuously even if u think u r not gaining anything.
At the end u'll learn a lot from this experience.

Give ur life a second chance.I handled my depression without medication because some1 told me that something inside everybody is more strong/imp then anything else in the world.I believed in him.
