Well, your question somehow reminds of the infidel's ideology which is bent upon the idiocy of stones changing the individual's course of future.
When its clearly stated that only prayers can change the fate then I don't think so that this question is worth asking in the first place. |

there is no doubt that Astrology and Palmistry is true but the true knowledge is known by very few people. Similarly stones may have influence on human personality and those who know the true knowledge are very few. The sea level in the night rises when the moon is full moon is like a stone and it cause the sea level to rise due to its attraction. Similarly it may possible that different stones which we wear cause our blood to rise or influence on its circulation through there attractiveness causing a change in behavior or personality of the person or the persons around oneself who is carrying that stone.

well dear i dont know of any hadith that recommends one of wearing of stones but there are stones which have been mentioned in the Holy Quran, MARJAN or coral being one of them. and wearing stones is by no means the tradition of hinduism, though astrology is. Feroza is considered to have spiritual powers and is considered to cast off evils. it's no doubt a heavy stone, i have tried it. MARJAN or CORAL is considered to have impacts such as inviting luck. it is also considered as a Talisman for those who have trouble in their love life(may sound weird) ALMAAS/ DIAMOND is too a very heavy stone. doesnt suit all. takes one to the extremes. Pukhraj too is considered to be a way of attaiing good luck, for wealth and wisdom. Haqqeeq of Yamen is considered to be the best and have spiritual powers.. i also didnt believe in such things but i tried them myself. saw the obvious differences. and wearing stones by no means is opting hinduism. hindus eat, drink, walk and so does a muslim..... apart from their effects, stones are the most beautiful manifestation of nature, should be appreciated and worn as much as one can. regards!! Apart from astrology & palmistry some certain stones are very beneficial for human beings. such as yaqooot, zard aqeeeq , neelum ,dur e najaf .
You yourself may search that HAzoor pak s.a.w.w also used to wear some certain stones in his pak fingers. I also have some stones. Belief may vary person to person. ****************

Gemstones in Islam
The following links are beneficial:-
1. http://www.islamtheabsolutetruth.com/gem.html 2. http://tajbaba.com/Healing_Stones.htm 3. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...1182302AAMVEAc 4. http://www.wakeupproject.com/Forum/v...994fbd209f4e15 But, after consultation of the above links, the following Qur'Aanic verses are very significant:- 1. Surah Al-aqarah: "But if you do it not, and you can never do it, then fear the Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers." [2:24]. 2. Surah Ar-Rahman: "There cometh forth from both of them the pearl and coral-stone." [55:22] 3. Surah Ar-Rahman: "(In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone." [55:58] 4. Surah Al-Waqi'ah: "Like unto hidden pearls,". [56:23]. 5. Surah Al-Insan: "There wait on them immortal youths, whom, when thou seest, thou wouldst take for scattered pearls." [76:19]. The referral stones actually do not have their any spiritual significance, rather they are just mentioned in the Qur’Aan to explain the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon His slaves, of the seas, and the things that are brought forth from them, or as a metaphor. Al-Hoor Al-Iyn are favoured to coral, rubies, and preserved pearls, combining the purity of rubies and the whiteness of pearls and coral. The boys are likened to scattered pearls, to indicate their beauty and good looks. Their existence is just like Moon, or other heavily bodes, stars, like unique trees known by the respective region of land, etc. etc.
