@ Sociologist
Dear sir, thanks for sharing the story with us here. What an idea! ha ha ha
You narrated a story with a hidden moral behind it... By the way sir, you were supposed to let sleeping dogs (i.e couples) lie, but you made them run away... You see, how our people manage to find the positive out every unpleasant thing in Pakistan - "so what if the light is off" they say, " we'll change it into an advantage".
@ All
This gupshup is not meant to pass on any hoot or retort at anyone, but to having a bit of fun here.:pipe

With due respect.

Firstly you should go through all posts in this thread, and there really are some positive aspects of load shedding which are almost impossible to attain without load shedding. Although every one agrees that negative effects are too much.
secondly this discussion was both as joke and serious as well.

and lastly it is much difficult to prove some negative thing as positive one. It shows how one is able to see both sides of the coin. This also shows the strength of the debater and his power of thinking and reasoning how he proves e negative thing as positive. because proving positive as positive or negative as negative is not a big task.
and one more thing Ask Allama Iqbal Why did he tell positive aspects of "Ablees" or appreciated his acts, who (Ablees) is totally negative. Did not he know that "Ablees" is the collection of all negative things?

@ imran saifee
Agree with you sir, Allaha sub ka khiyal rakhta hai.
People roam in cars to spend time togather and some go in trendy resturants for dates. ;) where can the poor people go ?
So the loadshedding is blessing for them and they must be praying that it should never end. :dd

People, I thought of something else concerned with industry.
More the load shedding more the sales of UPS and Generators, more the people are employed for service etc. of this, industrial sector grows despite the loss it is facing due to load shadding.:vic

May I add a bit more to this thread??? ha ha ha
The good about power outage to me is, that people tend to accompany their family or friends which most normally they do not because of hectic schedule. When light is on, they rather like to go in their free time for using mobiles, watching TV channels, browsing on internet, reading books, etc, hence no time for their dear and near ones, but it is diametrically opposite when the light is off.
