According to rules,Miss angela should be awarded and promoted.

But in practice favouritism is a reality.

Agree with Deadlydoctor that the award and rewards were going to be with the Employ of the year, as she was not the employ of the firm at the end of year, it wont be bad if any other person gets this title. Because, a true employ is one who believes in 'Boss is always right'. Moreover, if boss gives her, even after firing, some cash like rewards, it would be so nice of him but if he doesn't, it is not bad. In short, there should be some reward given to her but not Employee of the year or likewise.
