Default Job Satisfaction ?

Most of the members here are looking for a good job and i wonder what they look in a good job, wheather it is salary, authority, environment, promotion chances, location or any other thing they consider must for job satisfaction.
What i have observed is that many ppl. are not happy instead of drawing hefty salary, and want to change job, while some are satisfied with meager salary and dont search for another well-paid job.
What are the things that bring job satisfaction to a person ?

Most of the members here are looking jobs in Govt. Departments. Less salary, packages and much power. There was a good quotation in the forum now it's missing I don't know where it is, it was, "Satisfaction is the death of struggle". It is human instinct that can't be satisfied at all. In very rare cases a job can be include of all the characteristics as mentioned by you.

Some jobs offer high salary, promotion chances, location etc especially in corporate sector whereas Govt. Sector offer authority, promotion but meager salary and packages. It depends either to opt for power or cash. Power conscious people get satisfaction with authority while others go for high salaries.

You are right Prince !
One of our friend when elected as an MPA, forced his younger brother who was a lecturer (BPS-17) to resign, and got him recruited through his connections as an ASI (BPS- 7) in Police. We are power-hungry people due to the principle of Might is Right in our society !

Best thing is when:

Work itself becomes a motivation. There is no match with such sort of motivation.

we are dissatisfied nation over all.
Then how can we be satisfied with our jobs.
I met many people related to different fields and walks of life in private and govt sector, one thing is common in all of them , all are dissatisfied with their working in their respective fields. I am no exception as well.
The reason of this dissatisfaction is either "competition ' or "our habit of saying that , "I am not satisfied with my present situation"

The Manager will become famous soon enough
Default Job satisfiction.

I think most of the young people are nt satisfied with their current jobs!!! And i am not an exception as well. There are many reasons behind this dissatisfaction.. some of them are sorted as follow...
1-Under estimation by the seniors especially the Job Gurrus(30-35years old employees).
2-Benefits difference between new PRE's & Old regular employees.
3-Political involvemnt in promotions etc.
4-Organizational politics (most youngers are effected)
5-Not relevent jobs according to the skills & knowledge an employee has.

EXAMPLE:
An MBA(Finance) should have to be indducted in accounts & finance not in administration. similarly the HR relevent person should have to be in adin or Hr nt in accounts or related fields of an organization...
