Who was Anokha Laadla !

Hello Friends, I hope You'll be alright

Well, I want to know that the story of Anokha Laadla is true or is just a myth. Incase it is true then who was that child who had such an Anokha desire? I mean whose son he was, who he became later etc.

My 2nd question is that what is the Last WAHEE on our Holy Prophet MUHAMMAD (PBUH) and what was the last SURAH and AYAH of Quran.

These are general questions that would add to my knwoledge and maybe of some other friends as well.

Your response is thanked in advance

Regards
Muhammad Adnan

[B]
what is the Last WAHEE on our Holy Prophet MUHAMMAD (PBUH) and what was the last SURAH and AYAH of Quran.
As per my best knowledge, the last ayah of Quran was Verse No 3 Surah No 5 (Al-Maida) which was revealed on occasion of Haj-ja-tul-Wida-a

Sahih International

Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah , and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Muhsin Khan

Forbidden to you (for food) are: Al-Maytatah (the dead animals - cattle-beast not slaughtered), blood, the flesh of swine, and the meat of that which has been slaughtered as a sacrifice for others than Allah, or has been slaughtered for idols, etc., or on which Allah's Name has not been mentioned while slaughtering, and that which has been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by the goring of horns - and that which has been (partly) eaten by a wild animal - unless you are able to slaughter it (before its death) - and that which is sacrificed (slaughtered) on An-Nusub (stone altars). (Forbidden) also is to use arrows seeking luck or decision, (all) that is Fisqun (disobedience of Allah and sin). This day, those who disbelieved have given up all hope of your religion, so fear them not, but fear Me. This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But as for him who is forced by severe hunger, with no inclination to sin (such can eat these above-mentioned meats), then surely, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. ” [5:3]

Some scholars say that the last verse of Quran was Verse No 176 Surah No 4 (Al-Nisa) .

Sahih International

They request from you a [legal] ruling. Say, " Allah gives you a ruling concerning one having neither descendants nor ascendants [as heirs]." If a man dies, leaving no child but [only] a sister, she will have half of what he left. And he inherits from her if she [dies and] has no child. But if there are two sisters [or more], they will have two-thirds of what he left. If there are both brothers and sisters, the male will have the share of two females. Allah makes clear to you [His law], lest you go astray. And Allah is Knowing of all things.

Muhsin Khan

They ask you for a legal verdict. Say: "Allah directs (thus) about Al-Kalalah (those who leave neither descendants nor ascendants as heirs). If it is a man that dies, leaving a sister, but no child, she shall have half the inheritance. If (such a deceased was) a woman, who left no child, her brother takes her inheritance. If there are two sisters, they shall have two-thirds of the inheritance; if there are brothers and sisters, the male will have twice the share of the female. (Thus) does Allah makes clear to you (His Law) lest you go astray. And Allah is the All-Knower of everything."

You are very right, but I couldn't understand what were you trying to say? The link was for just second view point. It was not for translation of Holy verses (Both 5:3 and 4:176).

I did translate the verses by using following links:

For 5:3

well i am not a scholar of religion but initially i too thought that 5:3 was the last verse revealed but there is an opinion that the last verse was revealed in Madina Pak n 5:3 was reveled in Makkah..

secondly the references of TAFSIR IBN KATHIR n KANZUL EMAAN both state that it was not the last verse to be revealed..
i am posting the links for convenience..
Surat Al-Baqarah was revealed in Al-Madinah

There is no disagreement over the view that Surat Al-Baqarah was revealed in its entirety in Al-Madinah. Moreover, Al-Baqarah was one of the first Surahs to be revealed in Al-Madinah, while, Allah's statement,

[وَاتَّقُواْ يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ]

(And be afraid of the Day when you shall be brought back to Allah.) (2:281) was the last Ayah to be revealed from the Qur'an. Also, the Ayat about usury were among the last Ayat to be revealed. Khalid bin Ma`dan used to call Al-Baqarah the Fustat (tent) of the Qur'an. Some of the scholars said that it contains a thousand news incidents, a thousand commands and a thousand prohibitions. Those who count said that the number of Al-Baqarah's Ayat is two hundred and eighty-seven, and its words are six thousand two hundred and twenty-one words. Further, its letters are twenty-five thousand five hundred. Allah knows best.

Ibn Jurayj narrated that `Ata' said that Ibn `Abbas said, "Surat Al-Baqarah was revealed in Al-Madinah.'' Also, Khasif said from Mujahid that `Abdullah bin Az-Zubayr said; "Surat Al-Baqarah was revealed in Al-Madinah.'' Several Imams and scholars of Tafsir issued similar statements, and there is no difference of opinion over this as we have stated.

The Two Sahihs recorded that Ibn Mas`ud kept the Ka`bah on his left side and Mina on his right side and threw seven pebbles (at the Jamrah) and said, "The one to whom Surat Al-Baqarah was revealed (i.e. the Prophet ) performed Rami (the Hajj rite of throwing pebbles) similarly.'' The Two Sahihs recorded this Hadith.

Further, Ibn Marduwyah reported a Hadith of Shu`bah from `Aqil bin Talhah from `Utbah bin Marthad; "The Prophet saw that his Companions were not in the first lines and he said,

«يَا أَصْحَابَ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَة»

(O Companions of Surat Al-Baqarah.) I Think that this incident occurred during the battle of Hunayn when the Companions retreated. Then, the Prophet commanded Al-`Abbas (his uncle) to yell out,

«يَا أَصْحَابَ الشَّجَرَة»

(O Companions of the tree!) meaning the Companions who participated in the pledge of Ar-Ridwan (under the tree). In another narration, Al- `Abbas cried, "O Companions of Surat Al-Baqarah!'' encouraging them to come back, so they returned from every direction. Also, during the battle of Al-Yamamah, against the army of Musaylimah the Liar, the Companions first retreated because of the huge number of soldiers in Musaylimah's army. The Muhajirun and the Ansar called out for each other, saying; "O people of Surat Al-Baqarah!'' Allah then gave them victory over their enemy, may Allah be pleased with all of the companions of all the Messengers of Allah.

since there is disagreement among scholars, i dont claim my references are a final verdict WALLAHO AALAM WA RASOOLOH

my concern was not the translation u provided but the link u gave..i disagree with u that its second opinion..second opinion is what u urself gave in ur post that some scholars consider 5:3 as last verse while other consider another verse..that website is solely for villification so i dont categorize it as second opinion..besides my excuses-if my post was the cause of ur agony..honestly no offence intended..
may Allah bless u!

MaShWaNeE Tuesday, October 12, 2010 10:44 PM

Dear!
Why dont i tell you about some basic concepts, and hope it will do it for you.
But first let me tell you that the site you linked (the one that contains hadiths from Sahih Bukhari) is anti Ismalic. The references given there were absolutely ok as

i have checked them personally but yet it is highly advisable not to quote from such sites as its soul is corrupted. One thing i would advise any member here is not to

surf net for Islamic teachings until you are 100000000000000 % sure about its source.

Now the basics...
1. The matter of the last Verse of the Holy Quran is not that much of a high concern. Our purpose must be to understand and act upon it,not to indulge in some kind of

useless debates. It would do only harm..

2.Whenever you quote, first verify that the source you are quoting is authentic. Otherwise avoid it as much as u can. And once it is verrified then Dhankay ki chot par

bolo.

3. Do not simply copy paste something unless you have gone through it urself first and then you had it verified.

The problem with this Ummah is this they dont even know their own religion and they dont bother to. The religion which was supposed to be our greatest strength has become

our weakness. Non muslims are easily manupulating us. But have we thought for a second why is it so? No! why would we bother to.
Dear this Holy Book is not sent to be kept in beatiful clothings or in closets or in ventilators above our entrance door or for the purpose of kissing it again and

again or to be carried with a newly wedded bride for that matter. It was sent as a guide to lead us through all walks of life till the dooms day..

I am going a bit in the background and explanation jsut for the purpose to make satatments very clear so that the true spirit of Our beatiful religion is clear to you.

The prophet (PBUH).
Deen ke barey mein ghalu aur mubahisay se bachu, kyu ke tum se pehle qomain isi waja se tabah hue hain.

Explanation:

And that was the main reason that i was requesting the moderators in the post ''can women and men be friends''. Beacause some of the friedns were clearly crossing the

limits by giving their personal opicion whcih was against Quran.

Now coming to the issue..The last verse of Quran...

Hhmmm....
What if you know...will it help you in obeying the injuctions of Quran..or will it help you in becoming a practical muslim or will it help you inthe hereafter?
But this discussion will lead you confusion.
The best answer to this question anyone could give is that there is difference of opinion regarding this matter. wALLAH-U-Alam...

But if the issue is of grave nature and it does effect you here and in your hereafter then you must discuss it...whatevere you find there in discussion donot accept is

blindly go and make sure it is authentic.once you find it is authentic then come and share it with ur other brothers. And infact this is the job of our Ummah.

Brother!
I will request you that do not internet as a source of study for Islam.
Do not indulge into useless relegious discussions. You never know when it leads you astary.
Read the Qurani and hadith urself.

Check out this thread. i hope it will do good.
