Thumbs up

I must say a good step & a step that should have been taken long-ago, but educationists need to be very careful in formulating syllabus and delivering. It should not be co-education at all. Girls should have separate classes. And teachers should be very kind & friendly persons (obviously) female.
or I dont know is k nisaab main kya hai, magar is main larkiyon ko zindagi guzarne or zindagi k saathi k sath chalne ki instructions k ilawa yeh bhi btana chahiye k how a girl has to save herself from Luchas & lafangas of society & how not to fall prey in bad hands!
when we will stop taking sex as a taboo, things will get better ourselves. main to hairan hoon k parents tak girls k sath is issue pe communicate bohot kum level pe krte hain.

and please this word "jinsi taleem/sex-education" should be changed! as it sounds weird and a student won't feel comfortable telling others that this is the new type of education she is receiving from her school and Its not exactly sex-education (sex education involves all the 'nitty gritties" as we see in europe!

and the link u have shared they r heavily criticising it as everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....when would this religious fanaticism end and muslims will start progressing

Education in any form and sort should be imparted. We need to educate the people about such issues which they are reluctant to discuss openly in our society but it should be in accordance with Quran and Sunnah.

But it should be strictly according to Quran and Sunnah and there should be no western influence in syllabus etc. In the Glorious Quran and Hadiths there are many commands and we need to make it part of our syllabus to teach the mature children. I've studied the books of Hadith where women frequently used to ask questions about such issues and the Holy Prophet PBUH guided them about such issues and problem. We should spread awareness in the society. See the following Ayath of Quran which teaches us, there are many more on this topic:

And they ask you about menstruation. Say, "It is harm, so keep away from wives during menstruation. And do not approach them until they are pure. And when they have purified themselves, then come to them from where Allah has ordained for you. Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves." 2:222

definitely, in accordance to Islam... Hadees, Sunnah & Quran have almost discussed every topic on this issue openly. we do not need to make west as our reference group in this very scenario. in fact, they are no way good about it and are in miserable condition.

I must say they (goray) also need 'proper' sex-education.

this is a very sensitive issue we should teach our children according to islam but at the age when they should know wat they studying not at very this stage they should be bit mature u can start teaching such stuff after primary but not in 2 class a child is to young to understand the importance of such education.
before primary we should make our childrn study not only basic islam but important social issue discussed by holy prophet and the importance of paradah n haya not only to girlz but to boys also. 1st hv to make foundation for the study n than start not like this.
we should realize the fact children are curios so avoid such things at this stage
may b am wrong but this is my personal opinion
