How can I practice spoken English
aoa member today i want to share a problem with u .as everybody knows that fluency of spoken eng. is 1st n foremost requist of every job so i want to speak english but problem is to whom i speak when i speak to family members they donot pay attention after some time n i forced to speak native language to stress my feelings . i tried to speak to frends on phone but in vain caz they also started urdu after few sentences n wasted my balance also,now what should i do plz suggest .your kind repies will b highly appreciated.

first of all watch english channel and listen english songs...
now this is real problem whom to speak...besides the people whom you mention that they didnt kind a support you...now the only solution is to be part of some English institute you can tell them that i dont need Grammar classes i just need speaking session...or else they let you sit in their Al-Fresco area to coup up with people to enhance your speaking abilities...in the present scenario this is the most suitable way through which you can improve your speaking.... speaking to ownself wont do any good as i have always tried it..but when a turns come to speak in front of some one i got strucked...so in my view its wont worthwhile to speak to own self...

Read loudly and speak with yourself standing in front of mirror lets say take a topic and speak on it for 2 mins non stop and practice daily. These will help a lot.
