Brainstorming with pen or keyboard?

Why is it that I can contemplate more efficiently with pen in my hand than with keyboard in front of me? :thinking

Does anyone else have the same problem as me? Or maybe its just because I am too old fashioned or simply too old lol... :0

Please refrain from long answers as I dont have the stamina to go through them (max 3 lines please). :glare:

JItni angrezi samjh ayi hai mujhe,us k mutabiq mera javab shuru hota hai yahan se;
Pen/ball point hath mein ho tou dimagh ziada chalta hai kyon k utni taizi se ap ideas/khayalat likhtay jatay hain mger keyboard se pehla likha jaye tou agay dimagh chalay.

But my problem is totally different. I can make good while typing and with pen, i become unable to pin down my ideas.

I was bound to paper pen once but later realized it is difficult to carry papers/notebook around and keep track of all the sheets of papers. So now I brainstorm using keyboard - it took some practice though.
I found Microsoft OneNote (part of MS Office Suite) priceless. In fact without MS OneNote I would not have been able to use keyboard to keep track of my thought process.

same is th case with me.. :( and i am also reluctant to reply some threads or post, as do not find better words to convey my thinking via typing... :thinking

I have been using keyboard for this very purpose for the past few years and quite successfully, even mobile works for me. Pen and paper is quite difficult for me and I hardly manage to think much while I have paper and pen in my hand. Currently working on this weakness and hope I might improve this deficiency.

@ Andrew
How exactly does one note helps? I am just curious why hasnt someone else recommended me already... and do you use palmtop or something like iPad that you carry around with yourself?
