i want ur sincere help regarding research hypotheses
help me find out dependent and independent variables in below mentioned hypotheses.


Ethical climate of self interest has positive relationship with satisfaction from pay.
Ethical climate of friendship has positive relationship with satisfaction from promotion.
Ethical climate of team interest has positive relationship with satisfaction from coworkers.

I think
PAY, Promotion and Coworkers are independent while
Self Interest, Friendship and Team Interest are dependent on the above variables as Pay will not depend on self interest because if the persons Pay will increase his self interest will increase too....and Pay, Promotion and Coworkers are not in your control...

ok it may be wrong but this is what i think, dont consider it final words, do discuss it with others as well and also tell me if you found out whats right...

ethical climate of Self Interest, Friendship and Team Interest are independent variables but i am more confused about satisfaction from pay, promotion,coworkers.(as these are dimensions of job satisfaction..and job satisfaction is mosltly considered as dependent variable so i am confused that whether its dimensions act as dependent varibles ...because they seems more like indpendent variables.

see if you compare Satisfaction from Pay and Self Interest than to me Self Interest seems dependent and same goes in other cases...

but just considering the term Satisfaction from Pay only it seems dependent but dependent on PAY....so i still go with what i told you in my first post..
