procedure fr army personnel to join civil service?
 

Hi every one.I wanna ask if any one know the procedure to join civil service from army as there`s always been a few seats fr army personnel every year.My brother is captain in army and wants to join civil service.Any worthy member who has become csp through this procedure or knows about it plz give the answer.Thanks in advance!

Dear i have not good knowledge but have little bit information which i want to share with you..

First of all good captions suggested by senior level(generals) to FPSC for the purpose of Competitive Exam css,then they never give written test only they have to give Interview in the front of interview panel of FPSC.Mostly i saw if you have some links with senior army officials then you have quit easy chance to get selected for exam.:shy

Military personnel (of all three forces PAF, Army and Navy) have 10% quota in three groups namely PSP, FSP and DMG.

The officers at the level of Captain/Flying Lieutenant are selected on basis of being topper in internal selection, high performance, good aptitude towards civil services. FPSC panel dont take interview rather interview is taken by internal offices of respective forces.

Names of Military officers (Captain,Lieutenant PN,Flying officer PAF ) are sent to FPSC by General Headquarters.These officers appear in psychological and viva voce at FPSC.

Note:Those Military officers,who get top positions in their respective batches at PMA,PNA and PAF,aren't selected for Induction into Civil Services.

for example 3 armed officers are selected... will they affect provincial seats or they will be given seats from open merit seats???

If your brother is Captain, he will have to take permission from CO of his unit. He'll send the recommendation/nomination of him to GHQ, they will shortlist the officers for CSS interview.
But mostly the COs do not send the nomination if you don't have a political background or any powerful influence.
