@All CSPs & Senior members: Imp Query regarding CSS Rule...Correct me Please

AM I right??? please Correct me e.g; If a person failed in any optional paper e.g forestry and got 30 marks in that paper... then 30 will NOT be added/included in his total and if his total (of remaining 11 papers) is more than 720(60%) then he will be called to interview. e.g 30 marks in forestry and total 780(12 papers) then his original marks will be 780-30= 750 and will be called to interview. then his interview marks will be added with his written and then in this way his written+ interview marks will made his total marks and finally his merit position(depending upon total marks)... |
I have never heard of this kind of rule/logic.
For an institution like FPSC, which is mandated by Constitution and affects the population in general, every single thing/criteria/rule has to be, and is, made public. So if there is any such kind of rule, it would be made public by FPSC. Better get it confirmed from someone in the Commission. |

Sir what I have heard and understood is that if you are above 600 with NO compulsory subject flunked then you will be called for interview.
Correct me If I am wrong. Regards |
