Almost in all Pakistan, Assistant have BPS-14.

Previously the Assistant was at BPS-11, some department abolished this cadre and some upgraded, the upgraded is BPS-14 and in some departments i think so they offered BS-16 that is not confirmed to me. Now it is also not cleared that immigration yet have upgraded or not

Firstly Assistants of all departments were in BPS-11, then the scale was upgraded from BPS-11 to BPS-14. Now High Court has ordered to upgrade Assistants from BPS-14 to BPS-16. This order is being implemented in Federal Govt. Departments and all the Assistants in Federal Govt. Departments will be upgraded to BPS-16 till May of this year. So the in question Department is of Federal Govt. then there might have been upgraded scale of BPS-16.
