Smile NTS test to get admission in MPhill,PhD,(Published Dawn letter 16-06-2012)

the following letter has been published in DAWN NEWS Paper was not fully published many facts very removed from this latter. the original i am pasting here i might be useful for someone !

Admission Policy for MPhill,PhD

This is a apropos of F.NASIM latter ‘MPhill,PhD Admission Criteria’ (June 11).The admission criteria policy should be change by eliminating the NTS test because there are bundle of reasons which are valid to shut down this unconditional way to judge the knowledge and abilities of the students whom already passed their sixteen to eighteen years of education by facing many hurdles in form of Exams. Firstly one has to qualify the NTS test and if luckily he or she passes the test then further he/she should qualify the entry test conducted by University authorities furthermore interviews are conducted to put the final nail in coffin of our youth. Only to get admission it becomes headache not only for students but also for their parents who have great expectation. Heavy fees are charged by NTS and entry tests conducted by Universities which does not seem to be a fair mean. As Supreme Court has taken notice of the fee refunding option from universities in which one can refund his fee after reserving the seat, which laid the option that one could get his money back if he become enrolled to another favoring university .Supreme court should also take the notice for such dismal admission criteria. We have poor literacy rate that can’t be increased until removing hurdle of NTS for the students which are willing to get higher education. On one side the CM Punjab emphasis of word of ‘Parha Likha Punjab’ but the policy to educate the youth of Punjab for higher education has become an excruciatingly painful. I am addressing and requesting to both Federal and Punjab Government to please take notice against NTS testing by dismantling it from the policy of admission criteria.

for any suggestion do write your opinion

Who will take notice???
they all want to grab money..nothing else,if a candidate succed in passing this test, in higher degree the fees is heavy, more in research work,,,, no proper guidence, no facility for free authentic papers......and if a person enrolled in low ranking university, their degree is not much valuable comparative to other universities...

i admire your feeling ..! because through this process we cant get the higher education and literacy rate will still remain suspended or might get sufficiently decreasing as our GDP now!
