Need advice on whether or not I should quit my job

Salam, Currently i am working as a government school teacher -bps-16- and my salary is 25,000. I have given css 2012 attempt, failed in english. I intent to appear again in 2014.I want to leave this job as i don't have job satisfaction and more importantly people around me disregard this job. Owing to peer pressure and lack of satisfaction i want to quit. Would it be a judicious decision given ever rising unemployment in pakistan??

Brother i will honestly advise you not to leave your current job at any cost except if found another job having higher level than the previous one. You are good educated person and know really well the current situation in the employment sector in this country. I am not that much aware of the teaching job but a highly respected one in the society. I have heard through someone that study leave can be availed easily during the teaching profession so if you are studying for CSS then you can opt for the option of availing leave rather than to quit. As for as your surrounding community is concerned you should not take such a strange decision on their will only as you may be the one who slowly gets to top rather than at once. So please donot do something silly enough to ruin your career rather perform your duties and mean while aim high at other stages which will definitely pave you to the highest desired level.

you should not leave your job.
Teaching is a most comfortable profession and you have lot of time to prepare for css in this profession. You have lot of holidays in this profession.
You can never get too much holidays in shape of summer vacation in any other field. You can cover a lot of your css syllabus in summer vacations.

In the current scenario of unemployment leaving a job would not be a good decision. As a bird in hand is worth than two in the bush.

I am also doing job as a teacher and will appear in 2014. In this profession I have witnessed that a lot of things of css are automatically prepared especially the objective portion. All the other jobs have a hectic schedule and you would not get such a comfortable schedule as in this profession.

Now decision is yours.

Whatever you feel about your job dont leave it until or unless you have another secured position.

Not at all. Dear you should not leave your current job. As far as CSS preparation is concerned you may take leave from your school. I would request any senior to guide us about method of applying for long leave. Moreover you may be granted age relaxation for two years in CSS.

Don't be emotional. You are earning a handsome amount per month. Just see the people around you; handsome, young and smart having 7000 to 12000 working as salesman, in restaurants etc. Say thanks to Allah and continue your efforts for competitive exams till success. May Allah be with you ..

One thing that rally urges me to abandon job, i belong to a well-off family. No one is dependent on me and i usually spend my pay as pocket money. I did BS(hons) in Physics now i want to change field by doing master either in public administration or political science..Besides CSSand another master degree, i also want to prepare well for other exams like GRE and other commission exams I mentioned all those things currently going in my mind. Sometimes i regard doing this job as a mere waste of potential Now please give me opinion what to do.. Sincere opinion would change my life.
