Default An interesting query about the watch/clock

Assalam o Alaikom!
Dear members how are you all? There is a query in my mind that i want it to be cleared by the members of this forum. If any body knows about it then please answer my this query.

Whenever i saw the photo of a watch or a clock in any book or in any electrical or print advertisement i mostly found that the time was 10 past 10 in the photo of that clock or watch. But i dont know whats the logic behind it. May be somebody else noticed this intereating fact. If any one knows about it then please clear me about it.

Iti s reminiscent of a check mark; secondly, it resembles a smiling face.Thirdly, The manufacturer’s logo, usually in the center of the face under the 12, is not only visible, but nicely framed by the hands.

"Thomas A. Frank wrote: '...most manufacturers trademarks are just above the center pipe, and having the hands at 10:10 causes your eye to naturally follow to the trough, thus bringing your view right to the trademark....' and often the Model name is centered under the center pipe, ruling out any hand more or less straight down (between 5 and 7). Date windows most often are at 9 or 3, and subsidiary seconds usually at 6. For aesthetic reasons you want the two hands neither nearly covering each other nor nearly in a straight line. By default the 10h10 looks pretty good."
