I am a ACCA student with one paper left ( appearing for it in june 2013 and result will be announced in August 2013 and preparations are good and hopefully i will qualify this time . My question is that in meanwhile can i apply to any post by putting my education status as '' awaiting result '' Although i have to get equalance certificate from HEC for appearing for most posts such as CSS and AD posts . The other querry is that some one told me that HEC takes lot of time in giving Equalance certificate (Masters) , so after Inshallah qualifying ACCA and after result when i apply for Equalance certificate ,in that meanwhile can i apply for some post by putting my status as ''Awaiting result'' or ''Awaiting Equalance certificate '' .And if someone can tell me the procedure of getting equalance certificate from HEC.

One become eligible for applying to that post when he meets the basic criteria of qualification, so you will be eligible only after completing your degree programme/in this case ACCA!

As regards equivalence letter, they do not take much time for issuing equivalence letter provided you submit all documents. You can have a look at HEC website for getting information on equivalence procedure www.hec.gov.pk

Yes, in that case you can attach application number/challan slip of fee submitted at HEC. However, to be precise, HEC do not take much time in issuance of equivalence certificate and they are usually cooperative if somebody needs equivalence certificate on urgent basis.
