Lightbulb BPS or SPS Pay scale should be preferred to start career with?
Salam to All,

Whether one should start with BPS pay scale? or SPS Scale?
What are future growth benefits?
Where should I see myself in next 5 years?
Where are more chances of promotion in less time period i.e within 5 yrs or it takes more in sps or bps?

Another thing if one moves from SPS scale to another job of BPS would SPS Service be counted or not?

It differs with priorities, If you get SPS-8 which is equivalent to BPS 17 then your promotion is very fast as compared to BPS17 and easy but pay is 8000 more than BPS17. And I believe getting BPS17 is much more difficult than SPS 8 especially when you have completed education from a good university

In SPS scale the salary is more. For example, if the initial take home salary of BPS 17 is somewhere between 32 to 38 thousand, then the salary of SPS 8, which is equivalent to BPS 17, is above 50 thousand with more benefits and facilities as compared to a normal BPS 17 post like medical and house etc (Depends on the organization). SPS is better all the way. There is a reason its called SPS i.e. Special Pay Scale.

Can you tell me SPS-3 is equivalent to BPS-14 or BPS-12???

can any body tell me Difference among BPS, SPS and FPS and their mutual equalency ?
