HEC (Islamabad) is only institution for attestation ?

Dear members : I have queries regarding degree pro grammes at abroad . Please answer to my query as soon as possible . It is an urgent and immediacy case for me .

1.[B] HEC Islamabad has only authority to attest Certificates/degrees and DMCs/transcripts [/B]? HEC issues tokens up to 240 per day so after 240 NO: one has to wait for up coming days ? It is also said secretary should have been in Pakistan , must not on foreign tours .[B]How many days it take for

The date shows offices has been initiated in Lahore as well in Peshawar..and blogger link is one month old where person : Osama Anwar has complained. I only need verification just HEC Lahore is also attesting degrees ?

2. Do HEC Lahore attest documents : DMC/transcripts and Certificates / degress ?

3. Why HEC and Inter board committee of chairman has the same authority: they both can attest documents up to intermediate level and give percentage ...Will their % formula fro granting foreign degree in equivalence would be equal ?[B]Or HEC only verify documents of graduation as well as post graduate level ? 4. IBCC testifies at inter level and HEC at higher level ? If so why these documents needed verification further from MOFA : ministry of foreign affairs ?

4. It is written for urgent attestation with in a day one needs 2000/- per degree for conversion in this way :
1. Matric degree + DMC = 2000+2000= 4000/-
2. Inter degree+ DMC = 2000+ 2000 =4000/-
3. B.A degree + DMC = 2000+ 2000 = 4000/-
4. And like wise .....

Apart from it challan 200 for attestation of original form & 100 for photocopy . [B]Why photo copy needs attestation ?
In this way charges for attestation of original as well as photocopies are measured by me in this way

The red highlighted area is for what? Which degree they are demanding ...?

Who told you that HEC Islamabad has the sole authority of academic docs's attestation? Nevertheless, HEC regional offices i.e. HEC Lahore can also attest your docs.
Yes IBCC attest docs upto inter level and HEC attest higher degrees. Then, you have to attest all these docs from foreign office in your city of residence. But, I think this process is necessary before going abroad for a job. Pursuing higher studies abroad doesn't require such a tedious process.
P.S.: HEC take some hours to attest all the docs.

Am writing this out of my personal experience: 1. One should reach the HEC Islamabad, or Regional Offices at Peshawar or Lahore before 11 O' clock because after 11 O' clock they'll not allow you to utilise their lab. 2. Use their computer lab for application and get the print out of that application with challan form and sign those documents. 3. After this, the HEC staff will inspect your documents and if they're in good shape, will give you a agreen signal for the deposit of the stipulated amount (Rs. 800 for each original degree and each transcript while Rs. 500 for each photocopy of degree and transcript). 4. You'd deposit the amount as per your application in the designated bank that how many documents you want to verify as per your application, actually the total amount would be registered on you application form and challan form as well. 5. Then you'll submit all your documents to the HEC staff with one set photocopy of your complete academic record from Matric to the last degree, your complete original academic credentials as well as a copy of those documents which you want to verify in copy form. 6. They will verify your required documents and will return your original as well as the verified photocopies on the same day while keeping one set of your academic record in photocopy shape with theirselves. This is what I found while verifying my documents at Peshawar Regional Office in February 2014. Regards

I have attested my degree from HEC Lahore office it took 3 to 4 days. There are only 50 token as far as I remember for a day, Gate is open at 8am but the guys reach earlier and made a list of 50 by themselves and when open they give it to the guard and only those people whose name included in the list entered into the office and fulfill the required procedure.You should have Metric and Fsc original sanad otherwise all of your efforts ''ll be wasted when they 'll sent you back to bring the necessary documents mention in HEC website.

Note: you should present there at least before 6 am I recommend you to reach at 5am and should take all required docs with your selves This experience is for Lahore office only I have heard that (not confirmed) to attest doc from HEC Islamabad you need to take appointment and just reach their on the slotted time given to you.

Also only original dmc or degree issued from University main campus attested I.e. I am studying at Fast lahore campus but my dmc of my campus was not attested they asked to bring Islamabad main campus dmc in which signed of Controller of Examination mentioned that I attested latter.

So you have reliable information about money deposit ...how much it takes ? Character certificate needs attestation ? I want to get stuffed from all information before going to Islamabad and time is running short ...

You can go there for attestation but there is another way. You can assign this task to OCS Courier service. Check their website for more info. They also provide degree attestation service for HEC and MOFA. I have gone through all the processes you have mentioned above. Good Luck.

Matriculation and Intermediate certificates will be tested by IBCC, H-8, Islamabad. And the Degrees above Intermediate from HEC, H-9, Islamabad.
HEC will submit fee at a counter. IBCC will submit fee in adjoining HBL branch.

The simplest way to get your degrees/transcripts attested is to visit [url]www.hec.gov.pk[/url], read instructions about the subject, fill the application form (just for experience because the hec will not accept it but still you can fill it online on your PC) the fee rate will appear on the challan form as per rules. I did the same thing while verifying my docs from the hec. The lab timing is 08:00 am to 11:00 am. Follow these guidelines and you'd get your work done in time and in convennience. P.S: Sorry, I don't know about IBCC and FO attestation because I have never been through this. Good luck!

If this is for job then make sure you do it in the bounds of time they have fixed. After verification from IBCC, you have to verify your documents from HEC within three months else the verification would be expired. This happened to one my friends, in fact, two of my friends. And, same after HEC's verification you need to verify them from foreign office within their fixed time. And, then from the embassy of the country you're going to. I am reiterating, do the whole process according to their time limit, else if your one verification got expired then you have to repeat and then proceed further.

Is it necessary to attest all documents from Matriculation to latest degree i have received yet ...

I called to organization yesterday which will take documents to diplomatic enclave : It is said by them only latest degree is required for attestation .

I am going to Islamabad right now , I`ve made my HEC log in and formed an application form as well .Will HEC attestation suffice previous degrees attestation .

My friends and some seniors have gone for jobs in UAE. So, what I am telling you is related to UAE(including other Arab countries). The procedure is as follows:
1) You need to attest your Matric and Inter docs from your local edu. board.
2) Attest the same docs from IBCC.
3) Attest you higher degrees from HEC.
4) Attest all of your docs from Foreign Office.
5) In the end, only and only attest your highest attained degree from the relevant embassy.
Now, you would think that if, in the end, only higher degree needs to be attested from embassy then why should I attest my Matric and Inter docs. So, the answer is, the embassy(the org. which you told about, i.e., maybe Sasha International) check your Matric and Inter docs first. If they are attested then after this they take your degree only, for attestation, otherwise, they will send you back to attest your Matric and Inter docs.
This was the whole procedure my friends went through, some months ago.
