A 21 Gun Salute to FPSC

I would like, all respectable seniors and those who have just been through the recruitment process of FPSC and believe it in their heart that amidst a scourge of corruption in government departments, FPSC contends to be a transparent recruitment agency, to please come forward and appreciate FPSC officials for upholding the integrity of the organization since its coming into being by sharing your experience(s) with FPSC's recruitment process. Only positive thoughts are invited and will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Yes FPSC selection process is crystal clear without any corruption same like PPSC, but we cannot rely on NTS

If only they come out of their willy-nilly situation and announce the written exam result.

So apart from late result announcements, FPSC is viewed positively by many. It is good to see this. I hope FPSC work on declaring results sooner and bring further transparency in its working.

Amidst all kinds of things we hear about recruitment in this country, knowing that the FPSC's selection process is transparent and merit-based makes one feel really good. I heard from many people as well that as far as the written process is concerned, it is very clean.

Good question. Because FPSC hires people for East India company. Like old babajees of PTV trying to act like modern newscasters. Why the so called Beacon House, Roots, stems shoots, branches & many other charlie david school systems have collectively produced any man of honor except producing thousands of mentally as well as physically retarded 100+ Kg "burger bachay"???? Reason is simple, all these institutions are trying to copy Brits. FPSC is desparately trying hire people to serve East India Company while Beacon house etc are trying to exploit the sick mentalities of parents & thus minting money in the name of educating their kids

FPSC should be praised for its transparency. I hope FPSC is that organization whose head will choose to resign but never allow the murder of merit while he is seated in his office, much like SPSC Chairman who daringly and selflessly served the nation and merit by vacating his seat but never permitting nepotism.

Agree

I have first hand experience of failing and passing FPSC exams. I wish all organizations, at least government ones could conduct their recruitment through FPSC.

I am saying this because some organizations carry out recruitment on their own which is very dubious and often influenced by the mighty and powerful elite of the country. Nowadays even a scale 1 post is sold in ten thousand of Rupees let alone getting a 17 scale job on merit except through FPSC. Even NTS process has only become a formality where what they do is that, after the NTS test, they call dozens of candidates for a single position and get their blue eyed candidate selected. At the same time they give impression that the process was fair as NTS conducted the test. I have appeared in countless tests conducted by NTS and give example of a couple of those to give an idea regarding how it goes most of the time.

Last year me and many other fellow appeared in NTS test for recruitment in NEPRA and in Supreme Court of Pakistan. In the test of NEPRA in the category i applied I got second position while a female candidate was ahead of me by one mark. And they had called for interview as many as 35 candidates for this one position i.e. Assistant Director (General Cadre). What happened was that the selected candidate was never notified by NEPRA however at least i got to know that it was not the lady with the highest marks an nor it was me who was second in the test.

In the case of recruitment of Assistant Protocol Officer in Supreme Court of Pakistan, the result of NTS were not announced. This was a sheer show of corruption what could i say when i paid 800 for to appear in the test and went from my hometown to Rawalpindi to appear in the test.

These are a few example, otherwise there are many like these in every other government organization which carry out recruitment on their own. At FPSC, we have at least a proper test, a pre-selection notification and ultimately there are successful candidates notified on the website. This gives a lot of satisfaction to candidates and they try to come up with revised strategy.
