dear forum members, i need to know the adress of any good book shop where every type of general knowledge books for current affairs ,pak affiars and islamyat for tests/competetive tests for fpsc,nts etc is available?because i am unfamiliar to pindi ...so help needed

There are many book shops in pindi. For example you can visit 6th road.There you will find many book shops e.g Majeed book depot and many more. Besides, if you can arrange, visit good book shop & good book shop2 in i-8markaz islamabad. You will find books on almost all topics, and, that too on good discount.

2ne qiestion is 6th road is that where govt post graduate college for women satilete town is located ?

Yes following are the names of book shops with their contact numbers.

[B]Good book Shop (0301-5229040, 0300-9798630)
Good book Shop2 (051-4862508, 03215151069)[/B]

These book shops are back to back i.e at one side is "Good book shop" & on its back side is "Good book shop2". Their is also a third shop near these 2 book shops, which is [B]"New Book Fair" (051-4938051, 4938052)[/B]. This book shop is very big. You will find almost every book there, but without discount.

Regarding your 2nd query, yes 6th road is that road on which govt post graduate college for women satilete town is located.To be precise, [B]majeed book (051-4423948)[/B] is in basement of [B]midway center[/B], and midway center is opposite of [B]dubai plaza[/B]. Majeed book also offers good discount.
