لفظ کتنے مہنگے ھوتے ہیں لیکن بے حسوں کے بازار میں کتنے سستے۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ! لفظوں کے بیوپاری اپنی گھٹیا سوچوں کا سودا لفظوں کے ہیر پھیر سے کرتے ہیں ، خوبصورت جذبوں کو بے مول کرنے والے لفظوں کے کھلاڑی، شائد جانتے نہیں کہ لفظ ہی چہروں کو مسکراہٹ بخشتے ہیں ، لفظ ہی چھین لیتے ہیں ۔۔ ۔ ۔ لفظوں کی ردا کسی کو تحفظ دیتی ہے تو لفظ ہی بے آبرو کر دیتے ہیں ، ۔ ۔ ۔ لفظ مصری کی ڈلی بھی ہوتے ہیں اور زہر کی پڑیا بھی ۔ ۔ ۔کسی کو سر تا پیر بدل بھی سکتے ہیں اور کسی کو جیتے جی مار بھی ڈالتے ہیں۔ ۔ ۔ ۔

لفظوں کے جال میں مچھلیاں پکڑتے ہیں۔ ۔ ۔لفظوں کے سکے پھینک کے تماشا دیکھتے ہیں ۔ ۔ ۔لفظوں کی آگ سے دھواں اٹھتا دیکھتے ہیں ۔ ۔ ۔لفظوں کے خنجر سے سینہ چھلنی کر دیتے ہیں۔ ۔ ۔لفظوں کی ماچس سے گھر پھونک دیتے ہیں ۔ ۔ ۔ لفظوں کے نشے سے مدہوشی طاری کر دیتے ہیں ۔ ۔ ۔لفظوں کے کھلاڑی لفظوں کا کاروبار کرتے ہیں۔ ۔ ۔ ۔


سوچنے کی بات ہے کہ صرف منافع ہی نہیں ہوتا ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ خسارہ بھی ہو جاتا ہے ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ عمریں بیت جاتی ہیں تاوان
بھرتے بھرتے ۔ ۔ ۔ ! بمع سود لوٹانا پڑتا ہے ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ !!! ۔

دنیا عجب بازار ہے کچھ جنس یاں کی ساتھ لے
نیکی کا بدلہ نیک ہے بد سے بدی کی بات لے
میوہ کھلا میوہ ملے پھل پھول دے پھل پات لے
آرام دے آرام لے دُکھ درد دے آفات لے

کلجُگ نہیں کرجگ ہے یہ یاں دن کو دے اور رات لے
کیا خوب سودا نقد ہے اِس ہات دے اُس ہات لے


کرچُک جو کچھ کرنا ہو اب یہ دم تو کوئی آن ہے
نقصان میں نقصان ہے احسان میں احسان ہے
تہمت میں یاں تہمت لگے طوفان میں طوفان ہے
رحمان کو رحمان ہے شیطان کو شیطان ہے

کلجُگ نہیں کرجگ ہے یہ یاں دن کو دے اور رات لے
کیا خوب سودا نقد ہے اِس ہات دے اُس ہات لے

تنہائیوں کے نگر کو الوداع اور طلسم کدے کی خوشبوؤں کو خوش آمدید ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔
