A faqir or qalandar in Iqbal is not only indifferent to vicissitudes of material life; he is a man of strong will, who has a moral stake in the social and political life of the people around him, motivated by the love for the ideal of moral and spiritual regeneration of mankind. In the attainment of this ideal, he is ready to sacrifice everything.

We find a glimpse of this Faqr in Rumi. He says:
"The affairs of Faqr are beyond your comprehension
do not look upon Faqr with contempt.
Because dervishes are beyond property and wealth,
they possess abundant sustenance from the Almighty.
Is “poverty is my pride” vain and false?
No, there a hundred glories are hidden in it."

Iqbal distinguishes two kinds of Faqr, one leading to supremacy and the other to base poverty, and acknowledges that for this concept of Faqr he is indebted to Rumi:
"Learn from Rumi the secret of Faqr,
that Faqr is envy of kings;
avoid that Faqr which
led you to (social and moral) decline."
"Since khudi was cut off from supremacy,
it taught the art of begging;
from the intoxicated eye of Rumi I gained
exhilarating experience of the state of Almightiness."

[size="4"]کیاجنتی جہنم والوں میں سےجس سےمحبت کرتے ہوں گے وہ ان کےساتھ ملیں گے ؟

جی ہاں اگروہ جہنم والے جن سے جنتی لوگ محبت کرتے ہوں اہل توحیدہوں گے تووہ جنتیوں کے ساتھ مل جائیں گے اور وہ اس طرح کہ جنتی ان کے لئے سفارش کریں گے کہ انہیں جہنم سے نکال کرجنت میں داخل کردیاجائے ۔

اس کی دلیل امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ تعالی کی یہ حدیث ہےجسےامام صاحب نے کتاب التوحیدمیں نقل فرمایا ہے ۔

ابوسعیدخدری رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ہم نےکہااےاللہ تعالی کےرسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کیاہم قیامت کےدن اپنےرب کودیکھیں گے ؟

تورسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نےفرمایا : جب مطلع صاف ہوتو کیاتمہیں سورج اورچاندکودیکھنےمیں کوئی مشکل پیش آتی ہے ؟ ہم نےکہانہیں ،

تونبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نےفرمایا : بیشک تمہیں اپنےرب کودیکھنےمیں کوئی مشکل پیش نہیں آئےگی جس طرح کہ تمہیں سورج اور چاند کودیکھنےمیں کوئی مشکل نہیں ہوتی ۔

پھرفرمایا : پل صراط کولاکر جہنم کے او پررکھ دیاجائےگاتوہم نےکہااےاللہ تعالی کےرسول وہ پل کیساہوگا۔

تونبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نےفرمایا : وہ پھسلادینےوالاہے جس سےبندہ پھسل جائے گااس پرکنڈےاورکنڈیاں ہوں گی اورچوڑے سے پھالے پرزہریلےکانٹےلگےہوں گےجوکہ نجدمیں پائےجاتے اوراسےسعدان کہا جاتاہے (کانٹےدارگھاس ہے جسےبکریاں کھا کرمرجاتی ہیں ) اس پرسےمومن کوئی توبجلی کی تیزی سے اورکوئی آندھی کی تیزی اورکوئی تیز رفتارگھوڑے کی طرح اورکوئی اس سےکم رفتارکے ساتھ گزرےگا ۔

توکوئی مسلمان صحیح سالم نجات پاجائےگااورکوئی زخمی ہوکرنجات پائےگااورکو ئی جہنم کی آگ میں گرتاپڑتانجات پائےگاحتی کہ ان میں سےآخری کھنچتاہواجائےگاتوتم مجھ سےزیادہ حق کوتلاش کرنےوالےنہیں تمہارےلئےاس دن اللہ جبارکے لئےمومن جب وہ یہ دیکھیں گےکہ انہیں نجات مل گئی ہے تووہ اپنے بھائیوں کےمتعلق کہیں گے ۔

اے ہمارے رب ہمارے بھائی ہمارےساتھ نماز یں پڑھتےاورہمارے ساتھ روزے رکھتے اورہمارے ساتھ عمل کرتے تھے ، تواللہ تعالی انہیں فرمائےگا: جاؤجس کےدل میں تمہیں دینارکے وزن برابر بھی ایمان ملےاسےجہنم سےنکال لواوراللہ تعالی آگ پران کی صورتوں کوحرام کردےگا، جب وہ ان کے پاس آئیں گےتوان میں سے بعض قدموں تک اوربعض نصف پنڈلیوں تک آگ میں غائب ہوچکے ہوں گے۔ جنہیں وہ جانتے ہوں گےانہیں وہ آگ سے نکال کرلےآئیں گے ۔

تواللہ تعالی انہیں فرمائےگاجاؤجس کےدل میں ذرہ برابر بھی ایمان ہے اسے بھی جہنم سےنکال لاؤتوجنہیں وہ جانتے ہوں گےانہیں نکال لائیں گے ۔

ابوسعیدخدری رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں اگرنہیں مانتے تواللہ تعالی کایہ فرمان پڑھ لو:

{ بیشک اللہ تعالی ذرہ برابر بھی ظلم نہیں کرتااگرایک نیکی بھی ہوگی تواللہ تعالی اسےزیادہ کردےگا }۔

توانبیاء اورفرشتےاورمومن سفارش کریں گےتواللہ تعالی فرمائےگامیری شفاعت باقی ہے تواللہ تعالی ایک مٹھی بھرکرلوگوں کوآگ سےنکالےگاتوایسی قوم نکلےگی جن کی کھال جل چکی ہوگی انہیں جنت کے سامنےایک نہرمیں ڈالاجائےگاجسےآب حیات کہاجاتاہے تووہ نہرکےکنارے ایسےاگ آئیں گےجس طرح کہ سیلاب کےاوپردانےاگ آتےہیں ۔۔۔حديث ۔

لیکن جومشرک ہوں گےانہیں سفارش کوئی فائدہ نہیں دےگی ۔

اللہ سبحانہ وتعالی کافرمان ہے :

{ بیشک اللہ تعالی قطعی طورپرنہیں بخشےگا کہ اس کےساتھ شریک مقررکیاجائے اووشرک کےعلاوہ باقی گناہ جسےچاہے بخش دے } النساء ۔/(116[/size]

[SIZE="4"]The silent narrow pathways of graveyards help you to understand the brevity of life. There is very little noise there – perhaps just the wind rustling through some lone trees and the faraway chatter of gravediggers that have taken a break from their work. Perhaps the muffled cries of the deceased’s child or wife. Perhaps your own nervous heartbeat that thuds loudly in your chest and ears.

The graves are full of people who were great conversationalists, talented writers, illustrious cooks and fashion idols. They all met the same end.

Somehow what shade of lipstick matches your outfit doesn't seem to matter when you walk those lone pathways. Somehow your sharp mind that often wins word-wars with others doesn't seem to be able to bring itself to say a word as you touch the soil beneath your feet, the soil above their heads. Somehow the expensive shoes that are covered with the dust of that hushed graveyard don’t seem so valuable anymore.

Everyone who existed died. Everyone who exists will die. The breath in your chest as it rises and falls is an indication that time is passing. Every moment gone is a piece of your one chance, gone.

At death you will not wonder – what would my life have been like if I had more things? You will not wish to have made more money or been more fashionable. You will not wish you had more degrees to your name.

You will only wish that you had worshiped Him better. Only that, nothing else.

The angel of death stands by unbeknownst to you as your time nears its end. The angel of death makes mourners of merry people. He obeys the orders of God without fail, without choice in the matter.

One day it will be me under soil. One day it will be my loved ones wiping their tears and walking with hushed words away from where I am. One day I will wish that I had worshiped Him better. I will only wish that, nothing else.

That day it will be just me and my deeds. And perhaps I will not have done enough. Perhaps the angel of death will take me before I am ready to meet my Lord, before I have given away my money to those who had a right to it…before I had decided to give up everything that leads me away from The Path of Truth.

And so restlessness is what I seek. Tired eyes and worked hands. I seek until the day I am deposited into the graveyard, to never rest until I have given everything I can, worshiped God with every limb of my body and carried others through their difficulties.

Restlessness in this life is what I seek. The time for rest will come soon.[/SIZE]
