Main te dil de akhay lag kay apna aap gawaya
Ki Dasan main kon te Kidron sheher tere wich aya

Na main noor kisay de dil da, te na akhian da tara
ki puchna aay sajna menu, main han kon wachara
main te han awaz dukhan di, mera naa dukhyara
oo jogi lai main lekhan mainu chakran wich paya

Ki Dasan main kon te Kidron sheher tere wich aya
Main te dil de akhay lag kay apna aap gawaya

na koi sangi, te na koi sathi te na koi meri mehfil
kar te kaat kitay nai mera , na koi meri manzal
rur dayan rur dayan umer wahai nahi milya koi sahil
na milya koi dil da mehram, te na main dard sunaya

Ki Dasan main kon te Kidron sheher tere wich aya
Main te dil de akhay lag kay apna aap gawaya

menu kon khraden aunda, nai san yousaf koi
na koi merian rawan de wich beth zulekhan rooi
na koi meri khater sahah wich dub k sohni mooi
khuwray kerri tang ne menu wich pulakhian paya

Main te dil de akhay lag kay apna aap gawaya
