Phoolon ki Aarzoo mein bare Zakhm khaaye hain,
Lekin Chaman ke khaar bhi ab tak paraye hain,
Us par haraam hai gham-e-dauraan ki talkhiyaan,
Jis ke nasib men teri zulfon ke saaye hain,
Mahshar men le gai thi tabiyat ki saadagi,
Lekin bade khuloos se ham laut aaye hain,
Aaya hoon yaad baad-e-fanaa un ko bhi 'adam',
Kya jald mere seekh pe imaan laaye hain
