Dil Dard ki Shiddat se Khoo'n Gashta-o-Si Paara
iss shehar mein phirta hai aik Wheshi-o-Aawaara
shair hai keh ashiq hai, joogi hai keh banjara
darwaza khula rakhna

seenay say ghata ut'thay, ankhoon say jhari barsay
phagan ka nahi badal, joo chaar ghari barsay
barkha hai yeh bhadoon ke, barsay tu bari barsay
darwaza khula rakhna

ankhoon mein tu ik alam, ankhon mein tu duniya hai
hontoon pay magar mohrain, moun say nahi kehta hai
kis cheez ko khoo baitha, kaya dhoondnay nikha hai
darwaza khulla rakhna

haah tham mohabbat ke gar thaam sakay dori
sajan hai, taira sajan, aab tujh say kaya chori
yeah jis ke manadi hai, basti mein tairi gori
darwaza khula rakhna

shikwon ko utha rakhna, ankhoon ko bicha rakhna
ik shama dareechay ki chokhat pay jala rakhna
mayoos na phir jaye, haan paas e wafa rakhna
darwaza khula rakhna
