عنوان مل گیا ہمیں رحمت کے باب کا
بھیجا خدا نے نور رسالت مآب کا

ظلمت قریب آ نہیں سکتی حضور کے
شاید اسی لئے نہ تھا سایہ جناب کا

کافر بھی کہہ رہے ہیں کلامِ بشر نہیں
یہ بھی تو موجزا ہے خدا کی کتاب کا

دشمن کو اے خدا تو مثالی عذاب دے
گستاخیِ رسول کے ہر ارتکاب کا

چوده صدی کی منفی سیاست کے باوجود
پھیلا ہوا ہے نور رسالت مآب کا

یہ بھی علی کا ایک تعارف ہے دوستو
تعبیر عین ہے وہ رسالت کے خواب کا

شارب بجز علی کوئی سمجھا ںہ ٹھیک سے
قوسین بھر کی دوری و قصّہ حجاب کا
