Jo phhir sey jalney kay muntazir hou'n

Woh apney paimaa'n rafaaqatoun kay

Na jaaney ab kis ki rah-guzar kaa

Magar musaafir ko kia khabar

Sitaara aankhein to soo gaee hain
Woh zulfein to bey-saaya ho gaee hain
Woh roushni aur woh saaey meri ataa thay
So meri raahoun mein aaj bhi hain
Ke mein musaafir rah-e-wafaa ka
Jo phhir sey jalney kay muntazir hou'n
Woh chaand chehra , Sitaaraa aankhei'n
Hazaar zulfoun ka ik sailaab-e-tund lay ker
Meri ta'aqqub mein aa rahey hain
Her ek chehra hai chaand chehraa
Hain saari aankhein sitaara aankhein
Taamaam hain meherbaa'b saaya-daar zulfain
Mein kis ko chaahoon'n mein kis ko choomoon
Mein kis kay saaey mein baothh jaaoun
Bachoo'n keh toofaan mein doob jaaoun
Ke meraa chehra na meri aankhein
Meray Khudaya
Mein zindagee kay azaab likhhon ke khwaab likhoon
