pholoon ke nasheman main raha hoon sada se
dekho kabhi ghairoon se mera zikar na karna

shahyad yeh andehre he mujhe rah dekhayein
ab chaand sitaroon se mera zikar na karna

wo meri kahani ko ghalat rang na de dein
afsana nigaroon se mera zikar na karna

shayad woh mere haal pe be-sakhta rou dein
is baar baharoon se mera zikar na karna

lejain gey gehrai mai tum ko bhi baha kar
darya ke kinaroon se mera zikar na karna

wo shakhs miley toh ussay har baat batana
tum sirf ishaaroon se mera zikar na karna
