Mojon pe chiragon ka safar kaisa laga hai

Chahat ke irade teri qurbat ka tasswur
Beeta huwa har pal mere khuwabon ka safar hai
...............
Chal pare safar per tu kiya mur ke dekhna
Dunya ka kiya hai iss ka sada bar bar di
...............
Justujoo khoi hawaaon ki umar bhar kerte rahe
Chand ke hamrah hum har shab safar kerte rahe
...............
Uss ajnabee ki rifaqat mein aisi khushboo thi
Hum apne saare safar ki thakan bhool gaye
...............
Safar hai paoon ki zanjeer qaflon ke liye
Hazar raaste badlen gae manzilon ke liye
...............
Khuda jaane bichar ke mujhe se kisi ka hamsafar hoga
Woh jis ke waste hain meh_e_intezar aankhen
...............
Hum safar chota tu andaz safar bhool gaye
Hum woh be simt musafir hain ke gher bhool gaye

na pooch uski k woh dewaana
kaee dinon ka ujarr chuka hai

woh kann tu nahin tha lekin'
karee chattanon sey larr chuka hai

woh thak chuka hai aur uska tesha
usi k seeney mein garr chuka hai
